The French revolution was never about giving the power to the people.It was the "bourgeoisie" who wanted to take the power away from the king so the 100s bourgeois could further enrich themselves...
So France exchanged one king against 100s of kings...

How Stalin Outplayed Hitler: The Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact
Who is responsible for World War II? Did Stalin really become friends with Hitler? Who helped Nazi Germany in reality?
"Because Stalin (a Georgian) signed a pact with Hitler" - all Russians must be bad - is the new speak of assholes to defend Nazis in Ukraine.
Not just Stalin, the Central Committee of CP USSR endorsed the pact and they did the right thing when the UK and France rejected the proposal of Stalin, to establish an anti-Nazi alliance. On the contrary, they encouraged Hitler to attack USSR by giving Sudetenland as a gift.
The Molotov - Ribbentrop Pact probably saved humanity. Gave more time and depth.
What countries signed contracts with Hitler, and when:
1933 - UK, France, Italy -
1934 - the four powers pact
Poiand - Hitler - Pilsudski pact
1935 - UK - Anglo-German Naval Agreement
1936 - Japan - Anti-Comintern Pact
1938 September - UK - German-British non aggression Pact
December - France - German-French non-aggression Pact
March - Romania - German-Romanian Economical Treaty
1939 March - Lituania - non-aggression Pact
1939 May - Italy - Pact of Steel (Friendship and Alliance)

Ремонт ремонтом, но плату за аренду здания никто не отменял — договор с собственником действует ещё 15 лет. И Минэк из бюргерских налогов вывалит за неё почти €200 млн! Собственник, к слову, агентство недвижимости из Люксембурга.
