Libertarians do not need to set up a new government department to be the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) because, as Orwell demonstrated, it will soon become the Department of Government Inefficiency, Costing Billions to save Thousands.
Libertarians ARE the DOGE.
If the Liberal party is serious about government efficiency and lowering taxation – tell their candidates to stop promising stolen money to every Tom, Dick and Harry rent seeker.

Libertarian initiatives have proven powerful enough to effect real change even without controlling government.
We applaud Angela McArdle and the US Libertarian Party for their tireless advocacy that led to Ross Ulbricht’s pardon. His release is a testament to the power of principled action and the unwavering commitment to liberty.
Ross was unjustly imprisoned for more than a decade, and his freedom marks a significant victory for the fight against political persecution. This is what a bold, uncompromising libertarian movement can achieve.
Here in Australia, we remain inspired by this achievement and continue working to defend individual freedoms and justice for all.
Welcome back to liberty, Ross

A helpful reminder from Topher: Without taxes and excise your fuel today would cost 97 cents per litre!
Their ABCs own reporting says only half the fuel excise itself goes back to roads.
Remember also that EVs do not pay the fuel excise.

Over the last week, the Libertarian Party has seen a rapid increase in new members and donations due in part to the efforts of the Federal Operation Committee's Black Friday promotion and the cowardly actions of the Liberal Party in voting for internet censorship.

Libertarian MP David Limbrick takes down the Greens over their crazy energy policies
Take a tour of all the technological possibilities around energy production that the world is considering but that Australia can't because of Greenie bans, which tie our energy needs to a failing wind/solar grid, entirely dependent on a Chinese-dominated manufacturing industry.

Australia cannot continue to deliberately handicap our ability to produce energy.
Government at all levels continually interferes with energy markets - and for what? Taxes, subsidies and prohibitions aren’t going to give us cheap energy or change the weather.

🌬AUS WINDMILL INDUSTRY GETS DUMPED🏚
During his first presidential run, Donald Trump called attention to the Chinese practice of "dumping" and was greeted to jeers and howls of protectionism by the elites and MSM.
But dumping is a real phenomenon, and abuses the very notion of international trade, essentially making a mockery of western democratic ideas of reciprocal trust in working free markets.
China is not a free country. It is the world's most dominant communist dictatorship, with a long-held imperial ambition to humiliate and undermine the free West.
Today comes news that Albo's "Made in Australia" wind-tower manufacturing initiative has collapsed, thanks to Chinese dumping:
Keppel Prince has blasted the federal and Victorian governments after a long-running lack of certainty and failure to deal with heavily subsidised Asian steel imports forced the Portland-based manufacturer to close its wind tower manufacturing facility, once one of the nation’s biggest.
Keppel Prince executive director Stephen Garner singled out Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen for criticism, saying he had been to the plant and was well aware of the challenges facing local producers who are competing with China, where there are generous subsidies for producers that have crippled Australian competitors.
David Llewelyn Smith wisely sees this as presaging a similar collapse in the solar panel industry:
Our pollies are careerist idiots who don't understand how the material world works in the slightest.

Today comes news that Albo's "Made in Australia" wind-tower manufacturing initiative has collapsed, thanks to Chinese dumping:
Mainland Australia’s last wind tower manufacturer will be forced to mothball its plant in a major embarrassment for the Albanese government after cheap imports using heavy-polluting Chinese steel have destroyed the local industry and cast a shadow over Labor’s domestic renewables policy.

The are many issues here:
-There is no industry policy.
-Australia produces roughly three-quarters of its steel from blast furnaces, which can’t compete with dumped Chinese steel.
-The other quarter is electric-arc furnaces run on exceedingly expensive power thanks to the gas cartel.
This is no surprise. The same thing will happen to Albo’s Made in Australia solar panels rubbish.
Our pollies are careerist idiots who don't understand how the material world works in the slightest.

By shortlisting this contentious book for a taxpayer-funded award, it no longer remains just a matter of the right to free speech and parental rights.
It now also becomes a matter of taxpayers rights and their best interests.
Promoting a cultural agenda that is firmly and clearly divisive, with no motive other than to spite conservatives, traditionalists, and family-values voters just because you don't like them, is way out of the bounds of the PMs responsibility.
Ideally, the PMs office and government should not be in the business of handing out awards for books, or really anything. And in Australia, our governing class has made a perverted obsession out of award-giving. Awards mean government approval. Our government stretches it to every area of life.
But as we all know, the government really sucks at picking winners (except for that one time Kevin Chicom Rudd picked a winner as opposition leader: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1567332/Kevin-Rudds-ear-wax-snack-a-hit-on-YouTube.html )
