𝕊ᴍᴀʟʟ 𝕊ᴛᴇᴘs
Every day, we take steps to walk
And we even take steps to talk
But are these the only steps
that we take?
Moving forward is a small step
But if we're hasty in our steps, we may
Fall in a trap or completely stray away
From the goal we had once set
For ourselves
Big steps can lead to a ravine
Cause the small steps weren't seen
In the journey towards the set goal
Of the plans you made years ago
When you were still a teen, or so
We have to learn to ease our pace
For life, after all, is not a rat race
Even though it's made to be one
Ever since society made it one
What should matter, isn't of this world
And that particular something
Matters to me, as it's a Great Thing
Although that Thing is Everything
This world needs tremendously
It's God of whom I'm speaking
God guides our small steps everyday
As He goes before us & paves the way
To whatever route that was carved out
In the plans that were once made
Which God for us had thought out
