In every corner of Najaf there lived great men, each of whom, in the secret house of their hearts, had created a heavenly connection with the Divine Truths of the Guardian, and their souls had become a constant reservoir of drinking for those who sought this truth.
But Sayed Ali Qazi knew that Shari'a was the first step on the Path of Mysticism. Shari'a is a spring, adhering to which leads people to the vast sea of monotheism.
The human being was created layer by layer, and as he was the most honourable of creation, he came to this world, to the lowest level of the universe, to showcase the Kingdom and Sovereignty of God in all layers of existence. "Shari'a is a jewel, the adherence to which brings a person from the lowest land of existence to the Kingdom, and whoever reaches the Kingdom in this level of the world, will become a King of the Unseen Kingdoms in other levels as well. It is thus that the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) brought the gift of divine vicegerency to mankind, and introduced the way to Kingship and becoming Godly in the total adherence to the commands of the Shari'a.

Pursuing this Path must always be accompanied by pure devotion to the jurisprudence of Ahl al-Bayt (as) and the Shari'a. In the Unseen of this world, the wings of the wayfarer's flight towards God are his commitment to the disciplines of Thought and Remembrance. Thought is the very path to Knowledge of the Self [ma'rifat al-nafs], and Remembrance is Shari'a, adhering to it, and benefiting from the degrees of verbal and heartful remembrance in all its levels."
