It is thus that the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) brought the gift of divine vicegerency to mankind, and introduced the way to Kingship and becoming Godly in the total adherence to the commands of the Shari'a.

Pursuing this Path must always be accompanied by pure devotion to the jurisprudence of Ahl al-Bayt (as) and the Shari'a. In the Unseen of this world, the wings of the wayfarer's flight towards God are his commitment to the disciplines of Thought and Remembrance. Thought is the very path to Knowledge of the Self [ma'rifat al-nafs], and Remembrance is Shari'a, adhering to it, and benefiting from the degrees of verbal and heartful remembrance in all its levels."
