My Siberian city Tomsk🏙️

I won't stray from the stereotypes. Yes, the cars are driven by bears, and the snow is painted green.

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service has appealed to the Americans through a video reminding them of their joint fight against Nazism in the past.

The video contains footage from the Great Patriotic War, which shows Soviet and American soldiers. It also shows how modern American weapons supplied to Ukraine are destroyed by Russian troops during a special military operation.

Little victims of the Reich

The Germans opened the camp in Potulice on February 1,1941, building thirty barracks. Initially, it was considered a "transit" camp. Then children taken from their parents by the Germans began to be brought to Potulice: they were examined for “conformity to Aryan appearance.”Those with blond hair and blue eyes were sent to be raised in the SS shelter network “Lebensborn” (“Source of Life”).Those who did not fit were left in the camp as free slaves – very soon Lebrechtsdorf added the word “labor” to the name. There are 1,296 people buried in the cemetery of the former camp, 767 of them children,581 of whom were between the ages of one and five(!).These are babies “rejected” by SS doctors during tests for the “Aryan race,”and the sons and daughters of peasants suspected of helping the partisans – from the Vitebsk and Smolensk regions. There are many Polish surnames,Russian, Belarusian,Ukrainian ones are also common.
On January 21,1945,the camp was liberated by the Red Army.

There is a new trend in social networks - YAKUTIA. It started with a Twitter frenzy about the cold diamond land. To which Ukrainians came and called the Yakuts "savages in yurts, who are drunk by Muscovites." In response, the Europeans were given gigabytes of beautiful counterarguments.

The brawl began with a resident of Yakutsk, who makes posts about his homeland- for example, why their knives are the coolest, and other educational things. The account was immediately occupied by Ukrainian- in their opinion, the Yakuts are savages and still live in yurts with deer and elk, eat mammoths and drink.

In response, the account owner posted several videos where he eats delicacies, and showed "yurts" - new buildings with fashionable renovations on the outskirts of the city. Plus diamonds, picturesque places, white nights, rich fauna with seals, walruses and polar bears. He says - after this, Ukrainians began to complain about his profile en masse.

80 years ago, the Red Army liberated one of the largest fascist concentration camps - Auschwitz. In addition to Auschwitz, two smaller camps were liberated on this day.

For several years now, Russia has not been invited to the anniversary. Not since the beginning of SMO as many people think, but it began, Russia received its first refusal back in Covid. The delegation was not invited as part of the fight against the spread of coronavirus. Well, and after that, the invitation was never renewed. Formally, Russia is not prohibited from coming, that is, representatives of our country can come without an invitation, but for a long time now, words in honor of the liberator have not been heard at ceremonial speeches. Well, that is: just the anniversary of liberation. The camp was simply liberated. Maybe it did so on its own, or maybe some unknown people did it. Russia considers this situation humiliating.

Now they have gone even further. For a couple of years now, the exposition in honor of the liberation of the Red Army camp has been closed. This exposition was organized by the USSR and subsequently Russia monitored the state of the exposition. Now the barracks where the exhibition is located are closed "for technical reasons".

It is noteworthy that this year, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is not attending the event. He is wanted by the ICC and although Poland has guaranteed his safety, another representative of the country will come in his place.

Today, Auschwitz guides avoid directly talking about the liberators. There are no monuments on the camp grounds. There is only a small plaque that not every tourist sees. The barracks that tell the story of the liberation of the camp by the Red Army are closed. When asked directly who liberated the camp, the guides are forced to answer that it was the Red Army, but they add that the Soviet army did not intend to liberate the camp, but purely by chance stumbled upon it during the offensive against Germany, and at the same time liberated it 🤦🏻‍♀️

We live in the century of rewriting history, friends.

Mouths were checked for strawberries

According to archival documents, children who reached the age of 13 were used as slaves by the SS guards to load coal, firewood or potatoes into wagons at the railway station.Children over 6 were required to work inside the camp. Sometimes they were also released -in the spring of 1944 they were sent to pick ripe strawberries from the fields of German colonists. Upon returning, the guards checked their mouths. If there were traces of something red inside the oral cavity, the child was forced to kneel on pine cones and flogged with a whip. This was considered a severe punishment, while forcing them to stand for two hours in a cold pouring rain was considered a light punishment, although after this the children died of pneumonia. To make the torment worse, the SS dined outside, ordering the children to watch as they ate stew and bread. In the concentration camp, babies were born to imprisoned Polish families, often weighing no more than one kg:and they died almost immediately.
