Another day, another aggressive forced mobilization attempt in Ukraine 🇺🇦: this time in the western part of the country in Rovno (Rivne).
This 28-year-old was pulled over with his wife and young child by the traffic police supposedly for speeding. The man demanded a lawyer and tried to leave. The police twisted his arms, handcuffed him, and ultimately turned him over to the military authorities.
Speeding can truly be deadly—by being sent off to war.
Sometimes you just want to sit the Ursulas and Kajas of the world and make them watch hours upon hours of such videos.

Ukraine’s 🇺🇦 acting president in 2014 after the Maidan was Alexander Turchinov. Nicknamed “bloody pastor,” since he’s also a Baptist minister, it was Turchinov who launched the “anti-terrorist operation” in Donbass targeting Donbass civilians.
Here he is three years ago celebrating his birthday by eating a cake with Putin’s head. Turchinov liked this gift and talked big, saying that "this head will lie on Ukrainian soil, and anyone who wants it will be able to kick it well." After that, Turchinov cut into the head and clarified that "there are no brains there at all."
I suppose this act of symbolic cannibalism is fitting for his nickname. Strange that we haven’t heard about Turchinov much since then, though, huh?

‼️Another feather in the cap of glorious Ukrainian 🇺🇦 history (re)writing—beyond outdoing the ancient Greeks and digging the Black Sea. Did you know that it was western Ukrainians that supplied George Washington and the Holy Roman Emperors, such as Francis II, with vodka? 🍸 Except Francis II stopped being a Holy Roman Emperor in 1806, since the Empire dissolved, so the date of 1810 on the bottle is wrong. Perhaps, they meant him as the subsequent Francis I of Austria? And don’t get me started on George Washington, though, I suppose, anything is possible! 🤣

Today is the 10th anniversary since the brazen assassination of Ukrainian writer and journalist Oles Buzina in broad daylight. He was gunned down in Kiev near the entrance of his own home on April 16, 2015.
The assassination took place after the regime change in Ukraine. Buzina was a Ukrainian patriot, but he opposed the Maidan and the war in Donbass. He was also known for his powerful writing style, at times satirical, other times—caustic, and was not afraid to criticize the Ukrainian government (past and present). Buzina’s politics angered both the new “government” and the ultra-nationalists.
Two days prior to the murder, Buzina's personal information appeared on the site Mirotvorets, which some believe has government backing. This information was posted by an anonymous user 404. After the murder, the site noted that “Agent 404” was successful in completing a “combat mission.” Later, this information was removed from the web. Another prominent opinion maker, Oleg Kalashnikov from the Party of Regions, was assassinated a day earlier in Kiev. His information, too, appeared on the now-infamous website. It was difficult to believe in such horrendous coincidences even back then.
Initially, the Ukrainian authorities attempted to blame the Kremlin. What a surprise! Yet the investigation led to two Ukrainian suspects, Denis Polishchuk and Andrei Medvedko, from an ultra-nationalist organization C14. The suspects were later released, and the case stalled and still unresolved. Both suspects are currently active in business (Ukrainian Military Coffee (!) in the case of Medvedko) and public, government-linked organizations.
Buzina’s mother passed away last month without attaining justice for her son.

BHL is akin to a vulture who has never seen a conflict zone or a regime-change protest he didn’t like: the Balkans, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, and beyond. Wherever he goes, bloodshed seems to follow. Since he just visited Sumy, this city may be the next point of increased fighting.

‼️The most revealing aspect of this article regarding their “long” (not long enough!) prison sentences for Azov isn’t CNN’s whining. It’s the fact that the Russian “human rights” group Memorial, which initially focused on Stalinism, designated these Third Reich wannabe terrorists as “political prisoners.” The extent to which these so-called human rights defenders have been showing their true colors is truly staggering!

Russian 🇷🇺 cosmonaut Alexey Zubritsky—who just arrived at the International Space Station 🚀 as part of a Russian-US crew—was CHARGED WITH TREASON AND FOUND “GUILTY” by Ukraine 🇺🇦 in absentia.
Not only is he “guilty” of treason, but also of being a deserter and evading the glorious duty of serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The in-absentia prison sentence is 15 years. 🤦🏻♀️
You see, the cosmonaut was born in Zaporozhye, graduated from a flight school in Kharkov, and served in Crimea until Crimea became part of Russia. Starting in March 2014, Zubritzky began serving in Russia’s Armed Forces and was accepted to be a test cosmonaut in 2018. Seven years of training later, and he’s at the ISS.
Russia sends people into space, while post-Maidan Ukraine rains on their parade with such a ridiculous prosecution of a man with Russian citizenship who’s lived in Russia for 11 years. Maybe try something constructive for once?

A social media post referred to Boni as "disgusting," even though he is not Russian (!), for not knowing the Latvian language. The post called for an investigation of his business, which took place and, according to some media sources, resulted in a fine. Latvia has a special government organization, the Center for State Language (VVC), tasked with engaging in tinpot totalitarianism of this nature.
