🟡 Report: Lebanese MP, Hassan Fadlallah – Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in Lebanon:
• “Hezbollah accepts that full authority belongs to the Lebanese state, particularly through its institutions, with the army at the forefront in the area south of the Litani River.”
• “There is cooperation, understanding, and coordination with the Lebanese army to maintain security and confirm that it is the enemy violating the ceasefire and international resolution.”
• “The real problem lies in the political decision that restrains the army and prevents it from fulfilling its expected role in protecting its people and country.”
• “When the resistance accepted this arrangement, the Lebanese government had received clear international commitments that this area would fall under state control and that Israel would adhere to all requirements of the international agreement, specifically the implementation of Resolution 1701.”
• “Lebanon still lives under continuous Israeli aggression, causing martyrs and injuries, taking advantage of state weakness.”
• “Hezbollah is open to dialogue, particularly on the defense strategy, but only after priorities are addressed: halting attacks, liberating land and detainees, and reconstruction.”
• “Dialogue is to be held with those who believe in these priorities to reach a defense strategy that protects Lebanon’s sovereignty.”
• “There are several projects to accelerate work on roads, water, electricity, and telecommunications as part of reconstruction.”
• “We are working on reconstruction, which follows a specific path and is the responsibility of the government. The issue of destroyed homes is at the level of the resistance, in its sanctity, priority, and importance.”
