Ron Paul on Real ID just before it passed the House decades ago along with the Patriot Act. Ron Paul was right.

If you were trying to hasten financial collapse of our country and bribe voters to go along with it, the strategy wouldn’t look much different than what Congress is doing today.
The big beautiful bill cuts taxes while keeping spending on an increasingly unsustainable trajectory.

When is a day not a day?
Answer: when Congress circumvents the law requiring a vote on Presidential National Emergencies within 15 days.
This passed with only three of us Republicans dissenting. It means there will be no House votes on tariffs.
Did we learn nothing from COVID?

He did this a few weeks ago. I was the only Republican to vote against this. They’re doing it again today. Most of my colleagues here don’t even know that they’re voting to do this when they vote for this resolution later today. Here’s today’s resolution:

Why haven’t we voted on tariffs in the House of Representatives?
Because Speaker Johnson is using Rules Committee Resolutions, consummated by majority votes of the whole House, to declare that “a day is not a day” in order to AVOID THE U.S. LAW that requires Congress to vote.

If we allow airports to collect more of their own fees (passenger facility charges), instead of making them rely on federal grants, airport infrastructure can be improved without increasing taxes.
CVG Airport CEO Krauter answered my questions about PFC caps in today's hearing.

I enjoyed this interview with Winston Marshall, former banjoist for Mumford & Sons. We discussed tariffs, lobbying, and campaign finance… and one of us might have played the banjo during this interview.

In 2015, Congress repealed country of origin labeling requirements for beef & pork. I voted to keep the labels, but most of Congress voted to remove labels because of a WTO ruling in favor of Canada & Mexico. If we’re in a trade dispute now, I say put the labels back on our food.

BOMBSHELL: At the Florida GOP meeting at the Governor’s Mansion, Ron DeSantis unleashed hell on FL's Republican supermajority — tearing into them for FAILING to deliver his agenda.
Taxes Gun Rights Fiscal Policy
This wasn’t criticism — it was a full-blown verbal beatdown.

Thank you to Rep. Wesley Hunt for cosponsoring HR 645, the National Constitutional Carry Act.
No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country.

Congress literally shut down for an entire week over a spat about whether new moms and dads serving in the House of Representatives should be allowed to stay home and vote.
Imagine if we were this passionate about saving the country from fiscal ruin and perpetual war.

In the House Judiciary GOP Committee today, we held a hearing examining judicial overreach by federal judges.
I reminded my colleagues that if we would just exercise our power of the purse and our authority to make law, we could render these court rulings moot.

A fight over allowing Congressmen to vote by proxy caused the Speaker to cancel all votes in Congress this week.
1. Proxy voting is unconstitutional.
2. It’s foolish to delay our agenda for an entire week while we control Congress and the presidency!

This is good. In fact, this is what drawing the swamp actually looks like.
I had the opportunity to depose Peter Marks (recorded interview several hours long), and his conduct at FDA was way out of line. He should have been cut loose years ago.

Today I introduced HR 2356, the Dual Loyalty Disclosure Act.
If we continue allowing dual citizens to run for federal office, candidates should disclose to voters ALL countries in which they hold citizenship.
