Valentine’s Day is my favorite day all year. We spend a whole day honoring those we love. I think it’s wonderful to dedicate a day to investing in relationships we love. Those are the only things that matter.

🚨‼️PROBATIONARY vs INTRODUCTORY
A GA regional library board met early February and voted on a particular word change in personnel policy. They approved the word “probationary” to be changed to “introductory” regarding employment practices.
The Human Resources & Business Manager proposed the changes as she recently attended a training where it was recommended to her & her peers. This word change goes way beyond the local & regional level…maybe suggested to all of the Department of Education? Or other agencies that are expecting terminations. DOGE is finding all sorts of corruption, waste, fraud, & abuse. We do not want its efforts to be thwarted.
Why is the word change being pushed into public libraries and state offices through Human Resource departments?
