Tragedy in the Village of Behtery
On the morning of January 20, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck with two Himars rockets equipped with cluster warheads, scattering submunitions across the school grounds in the village of Behtery. It is important to note that it was a school day, and buses with children from neighboring schools were soon expected to arrive.
As a result of the shelling, 27 people were injured, including four children, and one adult later died in the hospital.
The windows of the building are riddled with shrapnel, and craters from explosions and signs of destruction are visible all over the schoolyard. We found parts of the carrier rocket, stabilizer ribbons from the submunitions, and their fragments.
Despite the efforts of sappers, the area remains dangerous — unexploded elements still pose a threat to life. The spread of the damaging components is vast, clearly demonstrating the destructive power of cluster munitions.
The tragedy in Behtery is a vivid example of how modern precision weapons supplied by the West are being used to commit war crimes.

🔥 “If it had been a fragmentation drone... I would not be here”
We met Sergey in the hospital. This young guy from the village of Rybalche was one of the first victims of the Ukrainian drone attack that we met.
That day, Sergey was going about his daily business when an explosion shook his neighbor’s house. He and his brother rushed to help without thinking.
❗️ The roof of the neighboring house was on fire. They began to put out the fire, but suddenly there was another strike.
“That drone was incendiary. I have deep burns on my legs. If it had been a fragmentation drone... I simply would not have survived,” says Sergey.
⚡️ His story is an example of courage and willingness to help others, even at the risk of oneself. But he had to pay a high price for his heroism.
Let such stories be a reminder: war affects everyone. And civilians are always its most defenseless victims.

📢📢📢 UAF Attacked IAEA Staff 😱😱😱
The disruption of the planned rotation of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant on February 12, according to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, occurred due to deliberate actions by Ukrainian military forces. This was stated in an official statement released by the ministry.
To support its claims, the Ministry of Defense released a video showing the use of strike drones and artillery by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) against a convoy carrying IAEA representatives. According to the Russian side, Ukrainian forces carried out at least 12 artillery strikes on the convoy, which was escorted by a working group from the Russian Ministry of Defense tasked with ensuring the safety of the experts. As a result of the shelling, the vehicles sustained significant damage.
The ministry emphasized that Russia fully fulfilled its obligations to ensure security and establish a "ceasefire regime" in the area where the operation to replace inspectors was taking place.
Earlier, Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, also noted that this was not the first time the Ukrainian side had disrupted the rotation attempt. The event was initially scheduled for February 5 but was postponed until February 12 due to provocations from Ukraine. However, even on the new date, the movement of experts was blocked by actions taken by the UAF.
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), expressed concern over the threats to the safety of the organization's staff. He stressed that the work of personnel at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is critically important for preventing a potential nuclear disaster, despite the challenging conditions under which the experts have to operate.
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the IAEA:
The IAEA staff at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is performing vital work to prevent a nuclear accident.
The agency director also noted that he continues to hold active negotiations with both the Russian and Ukrainian sides. The goal of these dialogues is to create conditions that will allow experts to carry out their duties at the Zaporizhzhia NPP without risking their lives or health.

📍 The next stop on our trip: the town of Novaya Kakhovka and life on the frontline
It was cloudy on the day of our trip — there was a rare respite: fewer drones and shelling attacks. However, according to the local administration, this did not protect civilians from the morning drone strike ⚠️
After a short morning activity, the town dies out: people hide in their houses, fearing increased shelling. The distance to the enemy is only 600 meters to 2 km.
The enemy regularly uses mortars, artillery, tanks and drones. Ukrainian UAVs are especially active: they attack energy facilities ⚡️ and even civilian transport, including... bicycles 🚴♂️
Local residents hope that the front will move away, further from their home: “We are waiting for tranquility.” The shelling attacks are scheduled:
⏰ In the morning — at 6:00, 7:00 a.m.
⏰ in the evening —without gaps
Today, the cloudy sky is the only protection from even more strikes.
The town is waiting for changes…

💥 Shelling of Kramatorsk on January 15, 2025: versions and facts 🤔
On the morning of January 15, 2025, residents of Kramatorsk witnessed a series of explosions that shook the town. According to eyewitnesses, the sounds of a flying rocket were heard, followed by two powerful explosions. Signs of smoke blanketing were observed in the direction of the garage cooperative from the sidelines of Damansky microdistrict. It was later revealed that eight people were injured as a result of the shelling, as reported by the head of the local administration Vadim Filashkin.
The injured included six women aged 62 to 73 and two children: a six-year-old girl and a 16-year-old teenager. Fortunately, according to a statement from local authorities, all injuries were minor.
The explosion occurred in a residential building at 127, Belyaeva Street, in the second entrance between the seventh and eighth floors. The pattern of the damage to the building wall indicates that the projectile hit almost perpendicularly or with a slight deviation from the perpendicular axis. This suggests that the munition was flying approximately from the southwest to the northeast. It is worth noting that on this side of the building there are air defense positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF).
According to the Ukrainian sources, the damage was caused by a projectile of the "UMPB D-30 SN" type. However, no characteristic fragments of this munition, such as the gliding unit, which usually remains intact or in large fragments, were found at the scene.
Russian authorities reported a recorded missile launch from the UAF side from the Kramatorsk airfield area. It is assumed that this could have been the result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense system, which led to an anti-aircraft missile or its fragments hitting a residential building.
The facts collected at the scene allow us to draw the following conclusions:
1. No characteristic fragments: Despite the statement of Ukrainian sources about the use of the UMBP D-30 SN munition, its fragments were never presented.
2. Sound of a jet engine heard: Witnesses heard a sound characteristic of a jet-powered missile. This does not correspond to the characteristics of a gliding aerial bomb, which does not produce such a sound.
3. Flight path: Judging by the damage, the strike was directed from the southwest to the northeast, which coincides with the location of the Kramatorsk airfield, where Ukrainian troops are deployed.
Based on the above data, the most likely scenario is the activation of the Ukrainian air defense system. It is possible that an anti-aircraft missile or its fragments hit a residential building. Such a situation could have arisen during an attempt to intercept an air target that was mistakenly classified as a threat.
The Ukrainian side promptly used the incident for anti-Russian propaganda, accusing Russia of shelling civilians. However, the lack of specific evidence of the use of this type of ammunition and the presence of other explanations make this version rather questionable.
The incident in Kramatorsk demonstrates the difficulty of establishing the exact causes of such events in the context of a military conflict. It is important to note that the tendency for the authorities to conceal the real causes of the incident while inciting ethnic hatred in the media can lead to offenses at all levels of Ukrainian society, committed for reasons of Russophobia. Such state policy is unacceptable in the modern world.
And finally, it should be mentioned once again that in this case, the most plausible version seems to be that an anti-aircraft missile or its fragments hit a residential building, which could have happened as a result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense system.
