For the sake of argument, let's just accept the Wahhabi claim that 95% of the Ummah is mushrik, including Iran.
Does that mean Muslims should support the US and Israel over Iran because US and Israel are "people of the book"?
It makes sense from the deviant Wahhabi perspective because "the most important thing is aqida."
Wahhabis mean this literally.
People of the Book are closer to tawhid than mushriks. Thus, Jews and Christians should be supported over mushriks EVEN WHEN those Jews and Christians are slaughtering Muslims by the millions.

When the Sahaba were rooting for Roman victory over Persians, the Romans had not slaughtered 4.5 million Muslims. The Romans were not involved in an active genocide against Muslims.

The US alone has killed, directly and indirectly, 4.5 million Muslims since 2001, and they are set to kill millions more if Israel drags the US into more Middle East wars.
