I want to also make a short statement about Hafez Al Assad's recent post about their last hours in Damascus. I am only speaking out because many Syrians have expressed strong emotions to me and as someone who was also stranded in my home, surrounded by terrorists and only able to leave safely thanks to the bravery of my driver who did not turn back when faced with armed gangs at the border - I think I earned the right to speak. My heart was broken because I abandoned my life in Syria but the Assad family, whatever the reason - they were forced or blackmailed - they abandoned an entire country, it's people, their most loyal advisors to an excruciating fate by giving them no warning at all. Leaving them to displacement outside Syria as exiles from their homeland, everything, decades of toil, loyalty, sacrifice destroyed in an instant. Others were not so fortunate, they were killed trying to escape or forced to remain in Syria and face a daily threat of death, torture, rape, kidnapping. I don't think it was a wise move by Hafez to make a statement that literally ignored the hellscape that is Syria since December 9th. Those who suffered so much and were betrayed feel doubly betrayed, ignored and abandoned. The statement opened a wound that had no time to heal, because their trauma has not ever been addressed or relieved in any way. In my humble opinion, the only person who should make a statement is the President to his people who righteously or not, feel he abandoned and betrayed them. Anything less than that is an insult to the suffering of the Syrian people whose only sin was to fight and die for Syria. The Syrian minorities thrown to sectarian wolves who take pleasure in tearing them limb from limb. Where is the remorse, the compassion, the humanity, the courage that the people so desperately need as they navigate the rivers of blood alone? If nothing more profound can be expressed, again whatever the reason, it's better to keep silent and let the people heal and find the strength they need to carry on in a Syria they no longer recognise where fear rules and suffering is endless. People will probably be angry I said this but after posting about dismembered bodies and eyes gouged out of the latest victims of HTS murderous campaigns, my own heart is so heavy and so, human to human, please put the people first. They always deserved that but rarely received it. In the end they take the consequences of the leadership actions. Not addressing the collective agony is cruel.

(analysis on ceasefire continued)
Ok now to the real meat of this which I sort of mentioned on the first post.
Russia knows this is a pivot for the US. The US is clearly focused on expanding its hold in the Middle East/ West Asia, and on China, so it sees this as a great opportunity to normalize relations with would-be adversaries like the new “Free Syria” under Jolani in spite of the fact Russia was fighting them for years alongside Assad and the Syrian Arab Army.
This is why Putin just spoke to Jolani. This is no coincidence. There were conversations in Doha BEFORE Syria fell and now we are beginning to see proof of what a handful of us stated correctly-there were some agreements made then.
And of course Russia welcomes an end to the war with the NATO collective. There’s war fatigue, Russia is an a position of power vs Ukraine & NATO in terms of having captured the most land and lost the least.
Ukraine on the other hand is in a losing position. It will take the fall and lose the majority of the disputed territory-if not all of it, not only because Russia has the upper hand, but also because this is part of the security guarantees the US need comply with. Donbass and Crimea are not up for grabs.
What this means for the world?
Russia has normalized relations with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and has maintained its relations with Tehran-which are of cooperation but not direct military alliance unlike with North Korea. This is key. Russia has a State Duma approved ally ship with NK but only an economic-military cooperation with Tehran.
The difference is with Tehran if someone attacks it, Russia will not respond according to the treaty, but only go along the UN charter. With North Korea, it will respond as if attacked.

This also means that Russia will remain “neutral” when it comes to Israel, therefore not fighting the US in terms of their full intent to expand Greater Israel. And even if we do see a Palestinian state it won’t be anything of power alongside an Israeli state. Russia wants a stable, diplomatic region and it has acted as “neutral” for a long time in regard to Israel and Iran. I don’t see that changing right now.
The problem is we know the ME will never be stable as long as Israel and the US exist there.
The other problem is that the US wants to isolate China way from Russia. This seems far fetched but it’s not. Because the US is already coming for China as they did so before during the last Trump administration. It sees China as a major competitor economically and militarily. By pivoting away from Russia/Eurasia for now it will be able to focus on it.
What Russia needs to understand and IMHO what I don’t think is yet fully understood by everyone in the nonaligned access is that if you give the US your hand they will take your whole arm.
They should note the politics in Georgia against those who are anti NATO; the NATO backed forces in Moldova, the delegitimisation of the elections in Belarus, the protests in Serbia, the upcoming election in Poland, and the US-NATO grip on Baltic and Balkan states. They’re going after them one by one so by the time they return to Russia because they will, things may be very different in Moscow. IMO they won’t rest until it is Balkanised, so long as NATO exists in this manner.

🚨 JUST IN The most predictable, serious negotiation talks have begun between Russia & the US.
Donald J Trump and Vladimir Putin spoke via phone for 1.5 hours. This was confirmed by Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. Trump also spoke with Zelensky via phone. Putin has invited Trump to Russia and the talks are being hailed as a success. This is historic in the sense of diplomacy communication. But nevertheless this was coming.
As I’ve stated before we will see an “end” to the war in Ukraine this year and fast, if the US gets its way & if Russia buys what the West says regarding security guarantees.
*Before I break this down, take note of all crediting Trump when this was planned before he took office. And end to the Ukraine war is what the US intelligence actually wants right now. It may not be want everyone want or what liberals or some of members of the EU want, but this is ALLOWED to happen now for several reasons I will outline.
Some time from now they may realize he’s doing a wonderful job in his role of playing the savior & peacemaker, while serving as king maker & expanding the US & Israel’s imperial power abroad.

Trump is showing diplomacy as this is his role, counter to Biden who began the wars (though let’s not forget Trump approved the millions for Ukraine initially).
Trump won’t abandon his rhetoric or attempts to have the US come out of this looking like we made it happen when the truth is, we lost and need to get out of it so the intelligence is pivoting to China, West Asia and Latin America.
Trump also spoke with Zelensky but it’s clear who is driving the talks and who are the children sitting at the other table. The adults are talking and not with Zelensky and all he can do is pretend everything is fine. He’s got no choice as a puppet. The money laundering machine has come to a close and his future is uncertain.
Rubio and JD Vance will be involved in these talks, among others.

Donald J Trump and Vladimir Putin spoke via phone for 1.5 hours. This was confirmed by Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. Trump also spoke with Zelensky via phone. Putin has invited Trump to Russia and the talks are being hailed as a success. This is historic in the sense of diplomacy communication. But nevertheless this was coming.
As I’ve stated before we will see an “end” to the war in Ukraine this year and fast, if the US gets its way & if Russia buys what the West says regarding security guarantees.
*Before I break this down, take note of all crediting Trump when this was planned before he took office. And end to the Ukraine war is what the US intelligence actually wants right now. It may not be want everyone want or what liberals or some of members of the EU want, but this is ALLOWED to happen now for several reasons I will outline.
Some time from now they may realize he’s doing a wonderful job in his role of playing the savior & peacemaker, while serving as king maker & expanding the US & Israel’s imperial power abroad.

Bibi Santanayhu blames Hamas for Israel’s decision to cancel the agreement, because Israel can’t help itself from shooting at Palestinians and has reneged on their promise to allow aid trucks in.
So now he’s ordered the IOF to gather forces around Gaza. If the hostages are not returned by Saturday (due to their own doing), he will go back on the ceasefire which he and Trump have already done anyway as was always the intention.
