We knew that 8 February would be more critical after the lunar conjunction with Jupiter, as explained in the latest forecast video. But the seismic response is larger than we anticipated. Interestingly, we have again a 20 days interval with an atmospheric anomaly, similar to the recent earthquake in China.

In the last three hours two M 5 earthquakes occurred at the Dodecanese Islands. Within 12 minutes of the last one, two moderate but widely felt earthquakes occurred in Greece (M 4.6) and Morocco (M 4.9).

There were not many atmospheric anomalies in the last two weeks, but of those the region near today's M 7.0 earthquake was marked 15 days earlier, on 20 November. Too long in my opinion and hardly actionable, but still.
The situation with Earth between Venus and Mars remains critical and the number of M 7+ earthquakes is still well below average. We're almost 2 years without a M 7.8+ and 3.5 years without M 8+. So we know some regions on the planet are probably near the tipping point of a big one. Please keep this in mind.

Latest cluster of strong tremors occurred on the 23rd. Overall, seismic response has been relatively weak with two tremors up to low 6 magnitude.

It may not be long before a major earthquake ( M 7.5-7.8 ) will occur below the #Carpathian mountains in #Romania. But these earthquakes generally occur quite deep in this region (at a depth of about 100km or more).
