I was criticized by some months back when Israel temporarily backed out of Gaza. I said it wasn't over, and that Israel was winning and was in a much better position than most believed at the time. As we can clearly see now, the northern front in Lebanon has largely collapsed, the overthrow of Assad largely neutralized Syria and allowed Israel to acquire a large chunk of Syrian territory. While there is still resistance in Gaza, and the casualties to the Israeli army will be high, they are winning, and if they manage to find a way to move the remaining Gazans out of the strip, it will be theirs for the taking.
