Until recently, Stalingrad was the foundational myth for the orc military. In 2022, the outnumbered Mariupol garrison showcased the might of the Ukrainian military to the entire world. Even while completely encircled, Azov kicked the enemy's butt despite their huge advantage in numbers — without reinforcements, rotations, or weapons resupply. Azov is strong!

Meanwhile, the Chechen special forces, after suffering heavy losses during the Battle of Mariupol, quickly fell back and retreated. Even their own comrades in the orcs military nicknamed them "TikTok troops" for filming flashy videos with top-of-the-line gear and beautiful weapons while staying safely in the rear.

Medinsky dropped a couple of fake quotes from "VKontakte" while explaining Mordor’s position in the negotiations:

"As Napoleon said, war and negotiations go hand in hand."

"Bismarck always said: ‘Never try to deceive the orcs or steal anything from them, because time will pass and sooner or later the orcs always come for what’s theirs.’"

China is once again escalating its territorial dispute with India — this time over the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, which Beijing refers to as "Southern Tibet" (Chinese: "Zangnan").

Although this area is fully controlled by India, China claims it as part of its Tibet Autonomous Region. On May 14, Beijing took a new step in its rhetoric: as part of its so-called "standardization of geographical names," Chinese characters were added to official maps and documents related to the region. This move drew a strong response from India, which reiterated its sovereignty over the state. In turn, China's Foreign Ministry stated: "This is entirely within China's sovereign rights."

The dispute dates back to 1962, when China and India fought a brief but intense war. India managed to retain control of the region with U.S. support, while China, left without the promised help from the Soviet Union, failed to gain control over the land it now seeks to reclaim.

Today, Beijing’s moves appear to be part of a broader effort to revise established borders — a policy that could have serious consequences for regional stability.

In reality, Putin’s only “trump card” is mountains of human meat. Not just a trump card—his entire hand. Waves of infantry draftees: ignorant, debt-ridden, from impoverished provincial towns, who’ve never been abroad, never read a book, never truly lived.

With those “trumps,” you can keep playing for a long time. In the past two years, he’s already sacrificed over a hundred thousand of them to seize a few small, burned-out towns.

They bring up the Great Northern War—idiots. Back then, Russia was led by an energetic, bold reformer (albeit a tyrant). He breathed gunpowder with his army, spent days and nights on shipyards, and was an eccentric ascetic.

Just like Putin, right? Hiding in palaces and refusing to meet people until their stool samples are checked.

During the Great Northern War, Russia was part of a coalition of European powers who saw Sweden as a serious threat.

11 Years of “Azov”: The Story of a Legend

May 5, 2014. After arrests, imprisonment, the famous battle on Rymarska Street, the liberation of Kharkiv, and the first shots of war, a group of Ukrainian partisans officially became a combat unit.

Unique footage from those historic days is shown in today’s video.

The "Black Men," under the command of Andriy Biletsky, received insider information: disoriented by the country’s chaos, Ukrainian Interior Troops had abandoned their base in Berdiansk. For the "Black Corps," this was a chance to seize weapons from the military base, already being looted by orcs and separatists. The only legal way to get them? Transform from a partisan group into a police unit. For nationalists, ultras, and hooligans who had been fighting the police just days before, this twist was ironic and unexpected. But within days of becoming an official unit under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they fought several battles and even captured the so-called “DNR” defense minister. Thus, the legendary “Azov” was born.

Just a month later, the newly formed volunteer unit liberated Mariupol — a daring operation that Biletsky convinced skeptical commanders to approve. Their equipment included an armored KAMAZ truck, an anti-aircraft gun, and a heavy machine gun. Among the fighters were 16–18-year-old volunteers. What followed were battles for Maryinka, Ilovaisk, Shyrokynе in September 2014, the Pavlopil-Shyrokyne operation in February 2015, and many more — all marked by boldness and defiance.

The front temporarily quieted. “Azov” used this time to professionalize. They established the Konovalets Military School, sergeant courses, and a comprehensive recruitment and training system. What began as a group of nationalists became one of Ukraine’s most professional and combat-ready units — growing from a battalion to a regiment, then a brigade. But “Azov” has never been just a military unit. It’s a phenomenon, a great family.

During the 2022 invasion, the unit led the defense of от, forming the legendary garrison at “Azovstal.” Its veterans defended Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Dnipro regions, and launched operations to rescue comrades trapped in the Azov Sea region. They died and were captured for their brothers-in-arms.

We remember all those who fell on this path. And in their name, we keep fighting for our country. Congratulations to everyone who was — and remains — a part of the Azov family!
