While the dollar has been shaken by Trump's trade wars, the ruble has been supported by factors unique to Russia, including the record-high key rate of the Central Bank.
Having risen by 38%, the ruble has even outpaced GOLD, traditionally considered a safe haven asset in turbulent times.

"I'm gonna fucking shoot them," the mercenary crows in the direction of the Russian military, and is almost immediately put into the ground with a crowbar by the Marines of the 5th Battalion of the 810th Brigade.
It was later revealed that the rooster was James Anderson. A Russian court sentenced him to 19 years in a maximum security prison colony for terrorism and mercenarism.
