• We faced the most difficult days in our history from the 27th of September until the 7th of October, 2024. After that, we began to recover quickly and firmly.
• The enemy failed to, save for a few meters, enter Lebanese territory during the confrontations. When all doors were closed in their face, the "Israeli" enemy, through the United States, sought a ceasefire. They especially sought it after failing to create any internal strife or crush the Resistance.
• I chose to speak to the people of the Resistance openly and honestly today. To clarify, the people of the Resistance includes not only the close circle, but every supporter of the Resistance, whether they be in Lebanon, the region, and the world.
• The people of the Resistance were shocked to witness the level of harm that was inflicted on it, by losing such a huge number of leaders in a short period of time, especially Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. We were shocked too.
• The level of military preparedness the Resistance accumulated across the years gave the impression that the Resistance can maintain a prolonged and decisive state of deterrence for the enemy, and that the Resistance is able to decisively defeat the enemy militarily in a single blow. This is not true, because we will never possess equal military capabilities as the enemy.
• The enemy's intelligence capabilities, control over communications, and the complete aerial blockade by the enemy gives them an advantage. Thus, we are carrying out a thorough assessment of the events that took place in order to learn and extract lessons.
• The Resistance is strong with its decisions, will, and the faith of the believers. The Resistance is strong because it continues regardless of the severe blows that it suffers.
• We agreed to the ceasefire since the aggressor wanted it, and we were not the ones who had started the war to begin with. Additionally, we agreed to it since the Lebanese state took it upon itself to expel "israel" and defend the borders. Hezbollah congratulates the great Palestinian people, their valiant Resistance, all the Resistance factions that supported Gaza, the Arab and Islamic nations, and the free people of the world on this great victory, which came after over 15 months of legendary and historic steadfastness since the start of the epic of Al-Aqsa Flood. This stands as an exemplary model in confronting the Zionist-American aggression against our nation and region.
On this grand occasion in the history of the Palestinian cause and the struggle against the Zionist enemy, we care to emphasize the following:
1- This historic victory reaffirms that the path of Resistance is the only option capable of deterring the occupation and defeating its aggressive schemes. It represents yet another strategic defeat for the Zionist enemy and its supporters, confirming that the era of imposed dictates has ended, and that the will of free peoples remains unbreakable, stronger than all the Zionist and American machines of war and terror.

Statement by the Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Hajj Mohammad Raad, regarding the Zionist aggression on Nabatiye al-Faouqa and Zawtar yesterday.
The treacherous and condemned Zionist aggression on the Southern towns of Nabatiye al-Faouqa and Zawtar last night is yet another testament to the constant and ongoing threat that the "israeli" entity poses to our people, our country, and the security and stability of all the peoples and states of our region.
The constant international disregard to the violations of this usurping entity and its persistence in aggression has led it to its current state of arrogance, recklessness, and blatant disregard for all rules, standards, and international and humanitarian laws.
This confirms and strengthens our conviction—as well as the conviction of all free peoples around the world—of their legitimate right to assume national and moral responsibility, resist aggression, and confront the aggressors.
The right of our people in Lebanon to confront occupation and "israeli" aggression is a legitimate and sacred right, exercised at the time and place they deem appropriate to thwart the enemy’s objectives and safeguard Lebanon’s security, sovereignty, and interests.
It is only natural for the will of our resistant people to align with the efforts of the state and its relevant institutions when they fulfill their duty to protect the people and the country. This is what we aspire to in Lebanon and what we call for with anticipation, hope, and realism.

An army is meant to be a source of security and confidence for the people, not an institution that not only lacks the ability to defend itself, but also complies with the enemy's threats and orders!
The Lebanese Army evacuated its outposts in South Lebanon during the "israeli" enemy's ground invasion due to its inability to defend itself. The army is only returning to what remains of these outposts now, but only after confirmation from the UNIFIL that they can enter certain villages.
Netanyahu's office claimed that the enemy army intends to extend the 60-day period on the pretext that the Lebanese Army has not deployed in all the designated points. The Lebanese Army has had to wait on the outskirts of several villages for the "israeli" enemy army to withdraw before being able to enter and deploy in the village.
This is a vicious cycle and a dirty scheme that is being played by the US and "israel" in South Lebanon, with the help of their tools in the country.
Everything happening in South Lebanon stands as proof, day after another, before every collaborator against the Resistance that the Resistance is a continued necessity to defend Lebanon. Those who are honest in their statements against the "israeli" breaches against Lebanon in its South must admit this truth. Otherwise, they must accept their titles as collaborators with the enemy.
Why the Resistance practiced restraint during this period was for several reasons, some that are unknown, and some of which were explained by Hezbollah officials, including the Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Kassem, including giving the ceasefire agreement a chance to succeed.
Why Hezbollah's statements, including the most recent one, did not include threats to the enemy and instead addressed the Lebanese state and international community is also due to several reasons, including holding everyone accountable for not fulfilling their duties. Through such statements, the state's failure to defend its territories and sovereignty is clearly presented, and the complicity of the international community is exposed.
Additionally, on the 2nd of December, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon responded to the many "israeli" breaches of the ceasefire agreement after less than a week of the start of its implementation. The Resistance labeled this operation as an "initial warning and defensive response." At the end of the statement announcing the operation, Hezbollah warned, "He who has warned is excused [from what is to come]."
About a month later, on the 10th of January, 2025, Hezbollah SG Sheikh Naim Kassem warned that Hezbollah's patience before the "israeli" breaches may run out before or after the 60-day period ends.
Threats have already been issued, and tomorrow marks the last day of the 60-day period. We wait to see what will happen if the enemy continues its breaches on Monday.

Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah in Bent Jbeil today was asked by Al-Manar: Why does Hezbollah keep giving the state more chances after it has proven its failure to defend the people?
His answer was: We have always called for the establishment of a strong, capable, and just state. This is not new. We will not stop calling for the establishment of this state when it fails to take advantage of these chances. No one should think that we make these statements because the Resistance is weak. I assure the people that their Resistance is fine and still very capable, but people cannot live in a country where the state has no authority, where there is no justice, where there are groups that depend on external parties to attempt the abolition of others.

• On the request to extend the 60-day period until the 18th of February: It is impossible for us to accept this. Does the US expect for a people with this much honor and dignity to accept this?! They may want to go to their tools who follow their commands with no hesitation. But not us.
• The Resistance holds the right to take any measures deemed necessary before the occupation that continues to attack and refuses to withdraw. We decide the time, nature, and means of confrontation.
• The continuation of the occupation is an aggression on our sovereignty, and everyone is responsible for confronting it; the government, the people, the Resistance, political parties, and all sects.
• The equation of "army, people, Resistance" is the equation that prevented the "israeli" occupation from reaching Beirut, and even to just South of the Litani River.
• The national [Shia] duo achieved the consensual presidential option by electing President Joseph Aoun. Without the participation of the duo, the president would not have been elected in this manner that expressed national unity. Today, we are not the ones placing obstacles in the path of creating a cabinet of ministers.
• We have already begun the process of rebuilding and have assessed and compensated over 270,000 units. I must thank the Jihad-ul Binaa' Association for its efforts. What we have achieved so far is even better than in 2006, and we have more work to do.

Some leaks suggesting that the enemy will postpone its withdrawal and plans to remain longer in Lebanon require everyone—foremost the political authority in Lebanon—to act effectively. This includes exerting pressure on the countries sponsoring the agreement to closely monitor the final days preceding the deadline, ensuring the [enemy's] complete withdrawal, the deployment of the Lebanese army across every inch of Lebanese territory, the swift return of residents to their villages, and denying any pretexts or excuses that might prolong the occupation.
Any extension beyond the 60-day deadline constitutes a blatant violation of the agreement and a continued infringement on Lebanese sovereignty. It marks the beginning of a new phase of occupation that necessitates the state’s response through all means and methods guaranteed by international conventions in all their provisions to reclaim the land and wrest it from the clutches of occupation.
While we continue to monitor the developments, which are expected to culminate in the coming days with a complete withdrawal, any breach of the agreement and commitments will be unacceptable. Any attempt to evade them under flimsy pretexts is rejected. We call for strict adherence to the terms, without any concessions.
