In Sanaa, as well as other major cities like Sa’dah, demonstrators filled the streets holding Pales-tinian flags, chanting slogans, and denouncing U.S. involvement in the war on Ga-za. One powerful chant echoed through the crowds:
“No matter how brutally America bombs us… we will never abandon Ga-za!”

The protests—despite the deadly attack the night before—demonstrate Yemen’s unwavering support for the Pales-tinian cause. Organizers say the gatherings will continue weekly as a stand against U.S.-backed Israeli aggression on Ga-za.

43-year-old Jessica D. Aber, who recently served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was found dead at her Alexandria home last Saturday morning.

In a statement, her family said detectives “found no evidence suggesting that her death was caused by anything other than natural causes,” and they “expect more information from the medical examiner in the coming weeks.” The statement added Aber had experienced seizures from epilepsy, a sometimes fatal neurological disorder, for many years.

During her tenure, she managed approximately 300 lawyers and staff across four divisions, serving over six million residents, according to the DOJ. Aber resigned on Jan. 20, the day President Donald Trump was inaugurated.

Notably, Aber spent years leading a rare investigation into a criminal operation that facilitated the illegal entry of Israeli citizens into the US using fraudulent visas. She succeeded in extraditing and prosecuting an Israeli national who pleaded guilty for the smuggling ring.

Yizhak Meir Sabo, a 43-year-old Zionist Rabbi and former Director of Jewish Life at Akiba Yavneh Academy in Dallas, was arrested on April 1 and charged with indecency with a child involving sexual contact. According to the report, Sabo repeatedly pulled down a male student’s pants and touched his genitals while he was in grades 9-12. He also watched him shower and sent inappropriate messages.

The school learned of the allegations on March 27, promptly notified parents and authorities, and placed Sabo on administrative leave. Akiba Yavneh Academy emphasized that the allegations do not involve students or staff from its early childhood or lower school programs. The school is also conducting its own investigation. Sabo’s bond has been set at $100,000.

Notably, Sabo had previously spread unverified claims of ‘mass sexual violence’ by Palestinians resistance fighters during the military operation on October 7th.

Bahraini security forces have reportedly arrested eulogy reciter Mahdi Sahwan, who is known for reciting eulogies for the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain - Prophet Muhammad’s grandson.

Sahwan’s arrest came at the backdrop of a recent eulogy he was delivering for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib, in which he expressed solidarity with Gaza and criticized the US ambassador in Bahrain. Sahwan has been arrested in the past for his criticism of the Bahraini regime.

The action comes in the wake of continuous security escalation against religious activities. The authorities had previously banned Sahwan from traveling abroad to participate in religious activities during last year’s Ashura season.
