A devout farmer was invited to dine with the refined gentleman. When he bowed his head to bless the food, his host mocked him him, "How old fashioned! Well educated people don't pray before meals anymore."

We come before you, O Lord. As the sun rises, may your hope rise up in us.
As the birds sing, let your love flow out of us.
As the light floods into this new day, may your joy shine through us.
We come before you, O Lord And drink in this moment of peace, That we may carry something of your hope, love, and joy today in our hearts.
As we go through today, we welcome the opportunities to contribute with the gifts that you have blessed us with, to the growth of the world.

salvation by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Thank You that the same power
that raised Christ from the dead, is alive in Me today.
Teach us to walk in Resurrection
power.
May we be diligent to share of this good news with those around us.
As the day unfolds and concludes and we reflect on the joy of this day.
May the significance of Christ's resurrection linger in our hearts, guiding us in the days ahead.
Help us carry the Resurrection message of love, hope, and redemption into the world, being witnesses to your transformative power.
