Hezbollah issued the following statement:
It is a glorious day of God, and a majestic scene of glory and dignity written by the great people of resistance, who have proven once again that they are the people rooted in their land, clinging to every grain of soil in it, the faithful guardian of the sovereignty of the homeland, and who do not bow before any threat or aggression.
Since the year 2000 until today, the scene is repeated, as our people prove that they are the true leaders of the path to victory, with their heroic resistance renewing the defeat of the enemy, confirming that there is no place for an occupier in this blessed land, in which every grain of soil has been watered with the blood of martyrs.
The scene of those returning to their villages, carrying pictures of the martyrs and the flags of resistance, embodies the highest meanings of steadfastness, resilience, and victory. It reaffirms that this people, with their indomitable will and unwavering perseverance, represent the strongest weapon of resistance. This strength, as described by our martyr and beloved leader, the master of the martyrs of the nation, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him), is "the point of strength that no one can defeat." The people of the resistance have proven their loyalty to the pure blood of their martyrs, demonstrating that no matter how great the tyranny of the invaders, they are incapable of withstanding this blessed popular wave, which, through its steps and direction, has charted one clear path: the liberation of the land and the final expulsion of the occupier.
As we in Hezbollah bow in reverence to the greatness of the people of resistance, we affirm that the equation of the army, the people, and the resistance that protects Lebanon from the treachery of enemies is not ink on paper, but rather a reality that the Lebanese live daily, and embody it through their steadfastness and sacrifices.
We call on all Lebanese to stand together with their people in the south, to renew together the meanings of national solidarity and to build true sovereignty whose title is liberation and victory. We stress that the international community, headed by the countries sponsoring the agreement, is required today to assume its responsibilities in the face of the violations and crimes of the israeli enemy and to oblige it to withdraw completely from our lands.
We salute the souls of the martyrs and the wounded who have paved the path of liberation and victory with their blood. We consider these great moments that our homeland is experiencing today to be nothing but confirmation that Lebanon, with its people, resistance, and free citizens, is a nation of pride and dignity.
