In a previous interview with the freed prisoner, before the war on Gaza resumed, Khaled Al-Sholi, 51 years old, who was sentenced to life imprisonment, shared his story. He is from the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, located north of Nablus city in the northern West Bank. According to the terms of the Toufan Al-Aqsa deal, which was reached between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist side, three Zionist prisoners were released in exchange for 183 Palestinian prisoners, including those sentenced to long-term and life imprisonment.

A Symbol of Solidarity, Tkiyet Nisan's Ongoing Mission
Due to the escalation of military operations and the occupation army's control over the area where Tkiyet Nisan was originally located, the site was relocated. Despite these difficult circumstances, the volunteers and workers at Tkiyet Nisan remained committed to their humanitarian mission. In fact, the current situation has only motivated them to intensify their efforts in supporting the local community. The number of displaced persons has surpassed 20,000 due to the attack on the camp, adding to the challenge. As a result, the number of meals prepared daily has been doubled to meet the growing needs of as many families as possible. This year, Tkiyet Nisan has evolved from a traditional event into a symbol of resilience and community solidarity, amid the harsh conditions faced by the camp’s residents.
