Sharia London: surge in back-room councils that rule on Muslim marriages have been accused of misogyny and exploiting religious freedoms — and they are on the rise on the capital.
Recently, it was stated in the press that there were now so many operating in Britain that we had become “the sharia court capital of the West”. These councils exist primarily, they say, to deal with women stuck in marriages they cannot escape. Some argue that the councils help disenfranchised women in abusive marriages, others say it’s a shadowy backstreet misogynistic world where women are cast away without any of the rights an official marriage would bestow.

The most recent data from all 43 forces in England and Wales show that 13.7 percent of child sexual exploitation “grooming” offences in the first nine months of last year involved Pakistanis.
This means they are four times more likely than white Brits to be convicted of child sex offences. In specific towns, it is 1 in every 280 Muslim males in Rochdale, one in every 126 in Telford, and in Rotherham, 1 in 16.
One need only look at the mugshots of convicted rape gangs in Rotherham last year to see the ethnic and religious composition of these gangs.
