Happy St. George’s Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

From the red cross of St George to the Southern Cross on our flag, we carry forward the crimson thread of kinship—the blood ties that bind us to Britain and to one another.
Join us this ANZAC Day in Brisbane
We’ll be handing out Aussie flags to families at the parade.
Meet at 9:00am at the Shrine of Remembrance (across from Central Station).

There’s nothing like seeing families wave the flag as our veterans and soldiers march past.
Come honour the ANZACs, catch up with mates, and share the moment.

God bless the ANZACs. God bless Australia. 🇦🇺

It’s a powerful moment seeing families wave the flag as our veterans and soldiers march by.
Come down, honour the ANZACs, and share the morning with good people.
Wishing everyone a happy Easter from the Australian Natives' Association.

Wishing all a joyous day with loved ones.
“Easter in the Stockade” (Anonymous, 1800s)

They flogged me once on Good Friday,
For stealing a loaf and a lie,
I saw the blood run red that day—
And thought of a Man who died.

The chaplain preached of Calvary,
Of mercy nailed to wood,
I clenched my teeth in iron chains,
But something stirred for good.

The gum trees swayed like sentinels,
As if to hush my rage,
The southern wind blew soft and clean,
Across that dusty cage.

A mate slipped me a crust that night,
And whispered, “Still He rose.”
I stared up at the convict stars,
And dreamt of shedding woes.

The lash don’t sting like memory,
Nor guilt like rusted steel,
But Easter comes to even me—
And teaches me to kneel.

I came across this powerful old poem from a convict—or maybe a man in prison—and you know what? In the middle of all his suffering, he found comfort in Jesus Christ and the power of the resurrection.

And I tell you what: that same power is still working in our nation today.

I’ve seen it with my own eyes, families and young people coming into church, hearts changing, lives being transformed. A young mate of mine just got baptized, giving his life to Christ. People are coming together, worshipping Jesus, lifting up His name.

Our nation is strong-but its strength doesn’t come from politics or power. The strength of our nation is our faith. The backbone of Australia is built on Christians, on prayer, on sacrifice, on everyday Aussies following Jesus Christ.

Check out this story from our past, and have a look at what God’s still doing in our present—in my church, in my community, in my family. Jesus is alive, and He’s not finished with Australia yet.
I’ve got a really important Easter message that I want everyone to hear ⚡️

This is such a special time of year, and I just want to encourage all of you—especially as we head towards an election—to stop and reflect.

Now more than ever, we need common sense. We need hope. And we need to remember the values that built this country: faith, family, and freedom.

So if you hear what I’m saying, and you agree with this message, please help me share it. Let’s get it out there.

Happy Easter, everyone. God bless you, and God bless Australia.

In Jesus’ name, Amen 🫡🇦🇺
Lent gave me a real hiding this year. Tried cutting booze, darts, junk food — slipped up heaps. But I learnt a lot about balance, discipline, and how hard it is with work and a young fam. Jesus did what I couldn’t ✝️

Thank You LORD 🙏 Happy Easter!

Oi Brisbane! If you’re in town for Anzac Day, come have a ripper morning with us. We’re handing out 500 Aussie flags at the Shrine of Remembrance from 9am — let’s fill the city with red, white & blue pride!

Big thanks to the Ipswich Libertarian Branch and the British Australian community for helping us organise this beaut of a social event.

Might even fire up a cheeky game of two-up if we get our hands on a spinner. Come pay your respects, have a laugh, and honour our diggers the proper way.

🇦🇺🫡God bless the Anzacs. God bless Australia.
Concord's Kokoda track memorial is at risk of closure, after being told by the federal government: “there’s no more money.”

The local Labor MP, Sally Sitou, was “not very responsive.” Meanwhile, the local Liberals are promising $500,000 for upgraded security at a Korean community centre in the area, yet somehow can’t find $186,000 to preserve the legacy of our veterans.

While politicians scramble to appease every other group, the descendants of the men who built and bled for this country are pushed to the back of the line. Anglo-Celtic Australians are being told, in no uncertain terms — your sacrifice doesn’t matter anymore.
JOINT STATEMENT ISSUED:

Over 40 attacks on ANZAC memorials and colonial statues and still, no serious response. We are witnessing a sustained campaign to erase Australia’s national heritage. The silence from our leaders is unacceptable.

We call for immediate action.

Read the full statement and see the signatories.

Albert Jacka (1893–1932) was a true-blue Aussie legend, renowned for his guts and determination during World War I. Born on 10 January 1893 near Winchelsea, Victoria, young Bert was a laborer before answering the call to serve, enlisting in the Australian Imperial Force in September 1914.

Jacka’s moment of glory came during the Gallipoli Campaign. On 19 May 1915, at Courtney’s Post, Turkish forces overran part of the Aussie trenches. Without hesitation, Private Jacka took matters into his own hands. He navigated through no man’s land, flanked the enemy, and single-handedly reclaimed the position, taking down several Turks in the process. This act of sheer bravery earned him the Victoria Cross, making him the first Australian to receive this honor in the Great War.

But Bert didn’t stop there. On the Western Front, his heroics continued. At Pozières in August 1916, he led a daring mission to rescue captured diggers, copping heavy casualties but freeing many mates. His gallantry was recognized with the Military Cross. Later, at Bullecourt in April 1917, despite being wounded, Jacka organized a staunch defense against a German assault, earning a Bar to his Military Cross.

After the war, Jacka returned home, diving into business and local politics, even serving as the mayor of St Kilda, Victoria. Sadly, his war wounds took a toll, and he passed away on 17 January 1932 at just 39. His funeral was a massive affair, with thousands paying their respects to this national hero.

Albert Jacka’s legacy embodies the ANZAC spirit—courage, mateship, and an unyielding determination.

One day isn’t enough to honor our ANZACs and war heroes. Let’s celebrate them throughout April during ANZAC Month. God bless the ANZACs. God bless Australia. 🫡🇦🇺

Meet Harry Murray VC – the most decorated Aussie soldier of WWI. 🇦🇺 Started as a private. Finished as a lieutenant colonel.

Led insane bayonet charges.
Killed dozens in brutal trench warfare.
Fought like a lion — never backed down.

In the hell of the Western Front, Murray showed what Aussie grit, courage, and mateship really mean.

He risked his life again and again for his fellow diggers.
No ego. No retreat. Just action.

He earned the Victoria Cross, the DSO & Bar, and the Distinguished Conduct Medal.
This bloke didn’t just survive the war — he defined the spirit of it.

Let’s honour men like Harry Murray this Anzac Day.
They showed us what it means to be a man — loyal, fearless, selfless.
God bless the Anzacs.
God bless Australia
