This is something outlined by the late revolutionary mystic, Martyr Ayatollah Murtaza Mutahhari, who wrote in the book The Theory of Knowledge the importance that worldview has on shaping everything in our life, both personal and societal. However, the ban is still in place and thus no weapons program exists. It is an interesting and peculiar type of racism because it involves seeing the superiority of a group other than the one the person who believes in it belongs to. Usually racists are racist about their own group, but in this case, it involves people holding racist beliefs regarding the "superiority" of another group which they do not belong to and the "inferiority" of themselves. The belief in the racial superiority and exceptionalism of Jews is held by many non-Jews, and this inferiority complex affects pro-Palestine activism by elevating the concerns of the group which is occupying Palestine to a degree above the voice of those who are the subject of the genocide and displacement by the occupying force.
This case of Jewish exceptionalism and having the Palestinian cause revolve around Jewish feelings can be acutely observed in the response of Liberal Zionist gatekeeper Tony Greenstein to Professor Miller's post.

Whether the side of the IAEA (a front organization that acts on behalf of the US and "israel" while pretending to be neutral, and whose activities have allowed spies into Iran who passed along information that led to the assassination of nuclear scientists) or Trump and his secondary sanctions, it is clear the US is trying to publicly put on the face of the "peacemaker" while simultaneously maintaining the same old, same old: bullying the world into submission.
The very short period of these talks proved once again that those who do not trust the west are correct in their assessments, and those who think sucking up to the west will cause the west to play nice with them are naive fools, or in some cases deliberate country sellers. Now no one can say that Iran didn't try. It was tried for a few weeks, and it is failing yet again.
Even if the talks were to succeed in some tangible results that led to verifiable removal of sanctions, it would not be a miracle that would save the Iranian economy. Foreign dependency makes countries weaker, not stronger. Martyr Raisi was just beginning to take the first stepping stones away from the neoliberalism of Rafsanjani, but he only had three years to clean up 30 years of the mess of economic liberalism, but he was cut short sadly. If sanctions are lifted and the economy opens up, the money that comes in will have some noticeable benefits, but just like any country with a liberal economic system, the new money that flows into the system will go in the same direction it is currently going: most of it will go to the top anti-revolution wealthy elites, while a relatively smaller amount will go to the masses.
Martyr Raisi treated these negotiations as just one of many files of the government, not relying on it at all for the sake of the well-being of the country. He negotiated from a place of strength and not trusting the enemy. In the meantime, he pursued policies of development within the country. He traveled within the country regularly to inaugurate factories, infrastructure projects, and more, and traveled internationally to sign trade agreements and MoUs. Then, if the best scenario case happened with the sanctions relief, the new money would flow into a more robust and diverse economy, and the liberal structure slowly transformed so that the wealth of the nation is distributed equitably to all stratas of society, rather than just flowing towards the top.
We hope that officials in the Islamic world, starting from Iran but extending elsewhere, as well as the electorate who (in some countries) vote these officials into office, learn a lesson from this instead of repeating the same mistakes over and over again. If there are to be negotiations with the US for reduction of sanctions and pressure, it should be from a position of strength, of not trusting the enemy, and of it being of minimal priority while the organic growth and progress of the nation from all other angles are pursued so that the country's future is not tied to the bullying tactics of the deceitful US.
The very short period of these talks proved once again that those who do not trust the west are correct in their assessments, and those who think sucking up to the west will cause the west to play nice with them are naive fools, or in some cases deliberate country sellers. Now no one can say that Iran didn't try. It was tried for a few weeks, and it is failing yet again.
Even if the talks were to succeed in some tangible results that led to verifiable removal of sanctions, it would not be a miracle that would save the Iranian economy. Foreign dependency makes countries weaker, not stronger. Martyr Raisi was just beginning to take the first stepping stones away from the neoliberalism of Rafsanjani, but he only had three years to clean up 30 years of the mess of economic liberalism, but he was cut short sadly.
