This is a reply I posted to a FB 'friend' who asked me basically to stop commenting on her trans positive posts. Will it make her reflect? I don't think so...sigh.

Xxxxxxx you have a few friends who actually thanked me for speaking out but who clearly don't want to openly challenge things in case it affects your relationship. I have a few people who comment on my posts, disagreeing with my position and the majority of my friends on fb about Zionism and Palestine etc. Some of my friends ask me to block those Zionists because it infuriates them to see their antagonistic comments. I responded that I don't block people unless they are abusive or peddle outright lies. I tolerate the rabid Zionists because I live in hope that one day they will realise they have been lied to. I also don't wish to live in an echo chamber.

The fact that I have interjected on your very few political posts which all pertain to the trans issue and you become so triggered by my comments that you don't want to hear anything more on your posts is instructive and illustrative to me.

I feel sorry for any friends of yours who don't feel safe to express their opinions because they're afraid of offending you.

I won't comment anymore because you have requested it.

A viral thread in Hebrew circulating in Israel by a man called Tom Zandman:

I want you to remember who funded and supported the mass murder of the Palestinians and dressed it up as "self-defence".

I don't know where or when you're reading this. I'm writing from my home in Jaffa, Israel. The date is April 9, 2025, and the time is 13:00.

For years upon years, we said that "Gaza needs to be flattened." Well, Gaza is flat now. But not because it needed to be flattened because we wanted to. We wanted to flatten Gaza, and we did. We did it to the sound of loud applause. The country is filled with victory cheers for every collapsed building and every obliterated family.

We say we did it because of the massacre on October 7, 2023, to free those who were kidnapped that day, or to ensure that such a massacre never happens again. I don't know what story will ultimately become the accepted explanation for Gaza's destruction, but those are lies. We did it because we wanted to.

We destroyed an entire region. At this point on the timeline, I still don't know what will become of its more than two million residents. We have already killed at least fifty thousand probably far more. As for the living, I know that their present is as terrible as a human existence can be, and their future is shrouded in uncertainty.

There is no future in Gaza. It cannot sustain life in its current condition, and any reconstruction will take many years and massive investment. At this stage, we are blocking every proposal for reconstruction, every external actor who wishes to take the Strip under its care, while we continue our campaign of destruction and killing.

There is no past in Gaza. There was life there, there was a civilization - but we destroyed every trace of it. Universities, museums, mosques, cemeteries. We didn't need to destroy them, but we wanted to.

We wanted to erase any sign that life ever existed there.

The Western world supported the destruction, or stood by. The United States financed and armed it.

In Israel, all the institutions of the state played their part. Academia, the press, the courts, the cultural sphere- all supported and legitimized it.

We all wanted it.

The internal opposition was marginal and negligible, and we denounced the dissenters as traitors. The police forbade expressing opposition to the destruction, and the public supported this silencing. The destruction of Gaza became the national mission, and we carried it out with devotion and joy. Those who took an active part in it were granted the status of heroes.

We knew what we were doing. We knew the unimaginable suffering we were causing. We knew the crimes we were committing in real time. We knew, and we declared before the whole world that this is what justice looks like, this is the face of morality.

I don't know what I could have done differently. If there was anything I could have done to stop it, I didn't know what it was. I wanted to resist, and I didn't know how. This writing has no value other than to testify to what happened, and to express my helplessness in the face of it.

This is how it happened."

You may disagree with his pov on various issues but in basic terms I think he's right.

I really miss Richard D Hall's investigations. I know he's extremely busy defending himself against the British Establishment, much admiration for his integrity and dedication.

There's such a deep dive to explore with regards to Kim Leadbeater (Jo Cox's younger sister), Jo Cox herself and Brendan Cox (WEF member and European Council on Foreign Relations).

There's no Wikipedia page for Brendan Cox. On his WEF page it simply says he's an "international campaigner and activist" and that he started his career after the "civil war" in former Yugoslavia working with children affected by the conflict. He's worked for scandal plagued Oxfam, Crisis Action, Save the Children etc.

In 2015, a woman at Harvard University accused him of assault which he denied and subsequently in 2018 he resigned from Jo Cox Foundation and More in Common following allegations of "inappropriate behaviour" at Save the Children charity. A Times article described him as a sex pest...

There's no Wikipedia page on him. Richard D Hall did a deep investigation into Jo Cox's murder. He proved that Thomas Mair did not kill her, another man was involved. Hall doesn't believe that Cox really died. I don't know. I suspect she may have discovered things, like Jill Dando for instance and had to be shut up possibly.

The fact that as a PE Teacher, Kim Leadbeater could walk into the same seat as her sister without being a member of the Labour Party for the required 2 years, is itself very odd. And then her focus on this Assisted Dying Bill.

A can of worms...no wonder Hall had to be silenced. I know he isn't silent, but the attempts to silence him will no doubt continue.

I listened to a very interesting podcast yesterday about "the myth of nonviolence". It was hosted on The Anti-Empire Project podcast. I then did a search for the term and came across an anarchist called Peter Gelderloos who wrote the book about "How non violence protects the state" 21 years ago. I found him on Substack and this is his latest post.

These are interesting ideas...how we have probably been conditioned to believe that only the state has the perogative on violence...

Anyway, I responded to his Substack post with the comment below.

"Interesting that you refer to the 2020 Black Lives Matter mayhem whilst the "global north" world was in the totalitarian grip of Convid policies with the State enforcing the most ludicrous number of regulations.

The police routinely attacked anti-Lockdown protestors and fined them for various infringements... certainly in the UK. On the other hand, the BLM protests were left to march in their thousands, with strategically dropped off piles of bricks in convenient locations.

There's an opportunity that's being missed by anarchists who are well versed in "propaganda by the deed" and those who are perceived to be more on the right who refused to go along with ridiculous and unscientific top down health dictats.

The State has successfully divided the population to such an extent that the so called left and centrists do not see the attacks on farming and biology as attacks but rather necessary to protect the planet from 1) climate change and 2) protecting a tiny minority who are allegedly persecuted and marginalised.

No doubt I will be pilloried here but that's the truth. "

Some good news!

"The Court of Appeal has today ruled that legislation granting the police ‘almost unlimited powers’ to restrict protests was created unlawfully. Judges dismissed an appeal from the Government, finding in favour of human rights organisation Liberty.

Liberty welcomed the landmark ruling, saying that the case sets an important precedent that ‘Government ministers must respect the law, and cannot simply step outside it to do whatever they want.’

Liberty has called on the Government to accept the judgment, and to review every arrest that has been made under the law."

I watched Louis Theroux's documentary "The Settlers". I'm really surprised BBC 2 aired it

The religious fundamentalism on display throughout is breathtaking. There is a camera shot of a father at a gathering at the beginning of the show, blissfully treating his child to the scenery of the war in Gaza through a viewing telescope, like it's a tourist attraction. No regard whatsoever for the dead innocents on the end of the telescope, including thousands of children & babies

It's a really hard watch, even though the true horror is likely watered down quite a bit. There is so much unhinged, entitled arrogance on display, fully supportive of apartheid & the unbridled harm to anyone opposing it

Theroux, with this documentary, probably did more to explain to regular people what Israel is currently about in 1 hour, than the entire UK media class has in 18 months

How does anyone set about solving such fanaticism? Particulary when it has long been supported (maybe created?) by the West, particularly the USA and UK
