BREAKING: [UPDATE] Officials have confirmed that there are no survivors after a regional American Airlines flight collided with a military helicopter, and crashed into the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport.
The plane was split in two and is immersed in about seven feet of water, as DC Police and Fire Dept. divers searched the river.
The PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 was carrying 60 passengers and four crew members, and the Sikorsky H-60 Black Hawk was carrying three military members.

The real irony of Trump repeatedly claiming he's going to lure "1.9 million Palestinians" into brand new houses the US builds for them outside of the Gaza Strip, is that it's not even remotely believable.
Homelessness in the US hit a record high in 2024 because the US Government couldn't care less about providing assistance to or housing for its own citizens.
There is not a single Palestinian who believes—after surviving 16 months of genocide carried out by Israel and funded and supported by the US—that the US really actually does care about the people they've been sending 2,000-lb. bombs to obliterate.

The New York Times cited an internal FAA report, which suggested that "the controller on duty the night of the accident was doing a job usually handled by two people."
National Transportation Safety Board officials say the flight data recorders from both the plane and military helicopter have not yet been recovered, with NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy saying during a news conference earlier:
"We know they're there, they are underwater. This is not unusual for the NTSB. We have many times recovered flight data recorders in water."
