What is everyone cooking for Easter?

Today I’m cleaning and listening to classic rock.
Tomorrow we will have Ham, all the sides and carrot cake. Just me and the kids, so it’s an easy holiday.

Thoughts Over Coffee

I think the year was 2008.
Widowed with two little girls of 5 and 8.
I was driving up the tree lined, dirt road that led to my Mom’s house in the woods.
I didn’t know where my life was leading, but I had a strong sense of purpose.
I had decided, before I made it to the mountain road, that I was going to let God lead me into a future that would be best for me and my girls.
Have faith and carry on.
This song came on over the radio.
I have not heard this song in years.
Last week I heard it playing overhead in the grocery store. It came just after a talk with God, where I made the same decision that I made on that country road long ago.
This morning I woke up in a funk. Just existing.
I opened Tic Tok and there was a woman doing a card reading in my feed.
Her reading basically said that the climb is over. That all you have been building and enduring is now coming into your new life.
I was going to scroll past, thinking it was just random, but then she said something amazing and I knew there was a reason that her message came to me today.
She said, “ I hear a song that is significant for you. It’s The Climb.”
She started singing it.
It transported me back to that day when I decided to let God lead me down a path that led to a place where I can fully shine.
I don’t know if I’ve reached the top of the mountain yet, but I do know that from this elevation, I see the reasons for all the detours.
I think the road ahead has less twists and turns.
Although this climb has been a difficult one, it was beautiful too and I do feel stronger because of it.
I think things are about to get really good.
A new chapter has begun.
Once again it’s me and those girls traveling alone.
Truth is we were never alone.
God has been our guide.

Jen I literally cried when I heard your Jentel today! I had to work this morning, so I had to watch the replay. You answered my question last night about whether I would have to find a new job or if I would get to retire soon due to the RV. I got chills and tears when you and Gabriel answered that I would be able to retire and today’s Jentel further confirmed that and was the answer to not only my prayers, but thousands of others that are in similar situations! My heart is so full of joy and gratitude for you and Jesus and the Angels! Thank you so very much for giving us the hope and support that we have all desperately needed to get us through this!! The other countries say, “ Oh yeah? We are going to revalue our currencies. Now you have to pay more for our goods.”

We RV.

Trump says, “Oh yeah? The USA is going to gold and our currency will be worth more.”

Problem solved. Trump is a hero. Publicly accepted.
