I also kinda had early console generations kinda all mashed together in my childhood
I'm about the same age as mario 64, but spent the first 4ish years of my life playing the NES and Sega genesis. Then I got a hand-me-down n64 when I was 5ish. And then, thanks to my dad getting a union job at the time, I got a gamecube when I was like 8, years into its lifespan.
And then the wii came out when I was like 10 and dad still had that union job. It's the only console I got when it was new.
And then I didn't get a wii u until I was an adult in college with a part time job. And to this day I have like 5 games on it because it was such a flopped console and I haven't had much time for games in adulthood anyways. And I have only a few more games than that on the switch. I don't even see myself buying a switch 2 anytime soon because I don't play that much.

Because lovebombing and mirroring have been successful on me at least a few times now for around 3-6 months each time before it began to fall apart.
I know it's good that i get out of the manipulative relationship in a matter of months and not years, but you know, I'd really like to make that average more reasonably measured in weeks.

I miss anti vax being a joke because it was so fringe
I've always been curious and craved knowledge. Living in ignorance always felt scary, and learning as much as i can about the world I'm in always helped alleviate the fear of the unknown.
I am completely incompatible with even beginning to understand the appeal of anti-intellectualism, let alone be able to fathom why it is on the rise. I couldn't imagine being proud of rejecting facts and evidence in favor of wild and unrealistic conspiracy theories. I just don't understand the appeal. It feels so wrong to me. Why is such a large portion of society rejecting basic germ theory and allowing deadly diseases to come back? And they're proud of it.

All of these deportations without due process (in other words, without any proof that the people being deported even did anything wrong) is basically just human trafficking, is it not?
Someone just being taken off the street, no chance to prove their innocence (the people taking them don't even care whether they're innocent or guilty), there's money being exchanged as these people are taken to somewhere where they'll be tortured until they die... it seems like straight up human trafficking to me. Government sponsored human trafficking.
They're hiding behind "these people are illegal and don't deserve due process" but

Mental hospitals just suck so bad
They're treated as a last resort place to go but actually they're only equipped to actually help with the most basic and simple issues that nobody's actually in a mental hospital for in the first place because any therapist can already help with these basic and simple issues and the staff takes it all out on the patients who just want someone to help them
