I attended a full day work related course today. Two thirds of those present were white. Most of the rest were either East Asian or Subcontinentals. We had a half hour to sign up and enjoy breakfast options they provided before our hard start at 9. Everyone managed to achieve this. Guess what race was the one who couldn’t? Yes, a SubSaharan (literally directly from there). Wanders in disrupting the proceedings a full half hour late. Living up to the stereotype. 😆
The demographic makeup there struck me as likely closer to what it’s become in my area, though it’s still technically much whiter. Yet, as I’ve mentioned before, when you exclude the elderly, the number of whites here and in much of the West is much smaller. The changes we’ll see over the next decade is going to be very revealing.
