And just like that my piano is gone.
Leaving behind this empty space in my physical and mental world. Excitement accompanied by bittersweet sadness...we will see what new will come to fill this void. Auf zu neuen Ufern! ⚡️

"I don't give my flat to a foreigner"-"Seriously?!?"
Shouldn't we be allowed to choose who we trust to rent our property to? Even tho it's good to make judgements individually that is.not always possible. Prejudice is never without reason and plays an important role in this human experience.

⚡️I'm back from an intense performance Weekend. I was playing for 8h a day for 3 days. Often reaching a meditative state and only noticing when the song found it's end that I had been gone. Interesting experience. ..feedback was mainly positive 🙏

I suffered this silly starwars up-do for the whole yesterday in the hopes that I will get nice curls for a performance this weekend. Will post about the results later. Fingers crossed that it turns out allright 😅🙈
It's good to somedays be extra silly and do extra silly stuff. Makes you less affraid of the world and peoples opinions...

🌸Origins of Quark
Quark is a versatile and beloved dairy product that holds a special place in many European kitchens. Though often overlooked outside of Europe, it’s a staple in countries like Germany, Austria, Switzerland🇨🇭, Poland, and the Netherlands.
The word "quark" comes from the German term for "curd" and is thought to have originated from Eastern Europe, with a history that dates back centuries! In fact, its roots can be traced back to the ancient farming communities who first learned to ferment milk and make cheese-like products. Over time, quark became a common food in European diets, appreciated for its smooth texture, tangy flavor, and nutritional benefits.
🌸How Quark is Made
Quark is made by fermenting milk, typically cow's milk, (although goat and sheep milk can also be used) The process normally begins with heating the milk and adding a bacterial culture, similar to yogurt. The bacteria ferment the lactose, causing the milk to thicken and form curds. The whey-liquid is then drained off. The texture of quark can range from smooth and soft to slightly firmer, depending on the moisture content and how long it's drained.
My farmer doesn't heat the milk but cultures it still warm after milking, thus leaving the product raw. He is an old man and a true master at his craft ❤️ I have not found a comparable product on any market (forget about stores!)
🌸The Versatility of Quark
It’s typically eaten fresh, which gives it a mild, slightly tangy taste that’s similar to yogurt but creamier. Some variations may be made with added cream for extra richness. Quark can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. It’s perfect for spreading on toast, mixing into smoothies, or pairing with fresh fruit and honey for a light, nutritious snack. In savory applications, quark is commonly used as a filling for dumplings, mixed with herbs for dips, or incorporated into sauces. I love it on potatoes.
It’s also a key ingredient in many traditional European desserts, such as the famous German Topfenschmarrn or the Austrian Käsekuchen (cheesecake), which uses quark in place of cream cheese.
🌸Health benefits
Besides its delicious taste, quark is packed with health benefits! It’s rich in protein and a great source of calcium and probiotics, which can support gut health. Its smooth texture and versatility make it a great addition to a variety of dishes, providing both flavor and nutrition.
Whether you're looking to add a creamy texture to your recipes or explore a taste of European tradition, quark is a dairy product that’s worth discovering! Have you ever had it?

Control over your mind is the result of self-discipline and habit. You either control your mind or it controls you. A practical method for controlling the mind is the habit of keeping it busy with a definite purpose backed by a definite Plan.
