It's because Chinese cars are better, more efficient, and cheaper. It really is as simple as that. I'm so sorry, Anakin, I must come back to the tariff conversation. The only thing that will secure a "flourishing business" long term is competitiveness. That's it. You can tariff stuff, you can artificially lower prices, you can cry about it, but at the end of the day, unless the domestic cars are competitive, it'll only hurt the domestic production long term. I've spoken about our cars before - they're shit. I'm sorry if there are any Ford enjoyers out there, but they suck. Maybe this will boost some sales in some areas short term, but long term this will only hurt us. Companies will find a way around this, even in comparison with domestic brands, sooner or later. Again, sure bro, but talking about it is roughly 5% of the job. That number was tested, by the way, in the official science house of science, by scientists, in a science lab.

Every single conversation about this subject I see online boils down to "lock up Hillary" or "Obama bad" or some other standard MAGA greeting. While those people are certainly a part of the problem, they are such a tiny part that perhaps we should start talking about the large picture. Our entire country, from the lowest to the highest level, is DESIGNED to work exactly the way it works. I keep saying this, none of it is a "mistake," it's all purposeful. No one "miscalculated" anything. I mean, yes, but not really.

I've been wanting to say what needs to happen for a very long time on this channel, but I put too much work into the channel to have it banned. Long time readers especially probably know what I want to say. If we want change, the entire tree must be chopped down and burned, not just individual apples, as rotten as they are.

Canada bows to retaliate to Trump's "direct attack"

Trump has made tariffs a key component of his economic offering in his second administration, positing that they will protect the domestic economy and enable the US to haggle for better trade terms for the US.

As such, he has put tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China, including a 25 percent tariff on Canadian imports and a 10 percent tariff on Canadian energy imports.

Tariffs don't "protect domestic economies." Sorry bruh. At least not long term. I've given a sea of examples on this channel how this strategy rarely pays off. Canada, in theory, could be a self sustained country (they have what it takes), but I doubt they'll push that far. For as long as it's this stupid "will he won't he" game of rhetoric, I am officially calling this traffic debate fake and gay. Trump has postponed them so many times it's not even funny anymore. US boosts military presence in Indian Ocean ahead of possible escalation against Iran

The US has escalated its attacks on Yemen in recent weeks and may now be setting its sights on the Islamic Republic at the request of Israel.

I touched on this briefly in a repost. As far as I can tell, there are only two possible outcomes now. Either Iran backs down and accepts whatever blackmail Trump throws their way, or it's war. I hope to God Iran, like certain other country, finally accepted that the UN won't do shit about any of this. Iran's "unwillingness to negotiate" will be used as an excuse and the war will be called an "intervention" or some other shit. Be prepared, please.

Federal judge again denies Pentagon's military trans ban after ask to dissolve order

On Wednesday, a federal judge denied the Trump administration's efforts to ban transgender people from joining the military. The ban was set to go into effect on Friday. According to Fox News, the Department of Justice has already filed a notice of appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

Here's another example of that. That's just not the way our country works - one dude can't decide something like this. We have courts and judges. I've touched on this topic several times and most of you seem to agree (at least that's what the comments suggest), but I will keep emphasizing it. It took 8 years to push a single bus line through environmental commissions in California, how long do you think all this stuff will take? Sorry, but none of this is happening any time soon. Unless, of course, someone takes all the power. Is that what you want? I don't know, it's up to you all.
