US won't leave NATO - Rubio
Washington is as active as ever in the military bloc, the secretary of state has said.
...Rubio made the remarks at NATO's foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels on Thursday. US President Donald Trump had previously threatened to leave NATO if bloc members failed to increase their military spending. He has called for a huge hike to 5% of gross domestic product (GDP) from the current 2% benchmark only reached by 23 of its 32 members in 2024...
Another example of how little has changed since Trump's previous presidency. It's all the same! I know I don't have many people on my channel who thought this was a thing, but do know there are some. Fellas, the US won't leave NATO, because NATO is our own tool of foreign policy. Whoever believed those dumb rumors seriously needs to get a medical check up because your memory sucks ass. I ain't gon' happen. We've been here before. Seriously! Anyway, I'm looking forward to how MAGA spins this one.

Iran responds to Trump's nuclear talks proposal as US sends bombers to region
Iran delivered a formal written response to President Trump's letter proposing new nuclear talks and threatening consequences if a deal is not reached swiftly, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Thursday.
...The source did not offer details on the nature of the Iranian response. The White House didn't immediately respond to a request for comment...
Please, Iran, don't disappoint. Don't do this to me, not you. Yes, yes, I get it, it's not about me. Iran should do what it thinks is best for them. I'm just saying, one chance was missed already, don't miss another one. The war is coming anyway, regardless of what they do. If they fold now, the Jewish administration will be back for more. Then more still. Then, they'll attack anyway.

White House installs Trump loyalists at federal HR agency after "five things" email
The White House has installed two Trump loyalists at the federal HR agency after allies of billionaire Elon Musk blindsided top Trump officials with a surprise government wide email last month demanding workers summarize five things they achieved at work in the previous week.
Billy Long, Donald Trump's nominee to run the Internal Revenue Service, and Douglas Hoelscher, a former aide to Trump during his 2017 2021 presidential term, are now serving as senior advisors at the Office of Personnel Management, the agency confirmed to Reuters.
"Federal HR agency" sounds like a collection of the most dull people in the universe. Anyway, some of this sounds like the media are trying to drive a wedge between Trump's relationship with Musk - such as it is. The language there, "blindsided." Are you sure about that? I thought Musk was given the power to do such things, no? I don't know, I'm just asking.

Russia's envoy to UN calls for moving towards new global paradigm not dominated by West
"Russia, remaining committed to the legacy of the Yalta Conference, consistently promotes, including via the UN, the principles of the UN Charter's essential role," Vasily Nebenzya said.
"Russia, remaining committed to the legacy of the Yalta Conference, consistently promotes, including via the UN, the principles of the UN Charter's essential role," the diplomat said. "This includes strengthening a multipolar world, equal and indivisible security, the sovereign equality of states, and respect for cultural diversity," he added.
Yes, Russia, I'm looking forward to this amazing new world where everyone is equal and cool and kissing toads will give you a prince and unicorns will flyyyyyy you into the heavens. Sorry to all my Russian subscribers and fellow Russia enjoyers, but the country's diplomats continue to live in a fairy tale.

White House withdrawing Stefanik nomination to serve as US ambassador to UN
The White House has informed the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that it is withdrawing Rep. Elise Stefanik's nomination to serve as US ambassador to the United Nations, reflecting how critical her vote is in the House to passing President Trump's agenda.
Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair James E. Risch received notice from the White House on Thursday afternoon that it was pulling Stefanik's nomination, confirming a rumor that circulated earlier in the day in the media.
Why is this even a subject of discussion? I thought we were withdrawing from the UN. And NATO. Is Hillary locked up yet? Sorry, I'm in a sarcastic mood today. I should stop. I will now stop.

Will this scandal be the end of "unsinkable" Netanyahu?
Revelations of high ranking Israeli officials' shady connections to Qatar open a new front in the PM and his allies' fight to retain power.
...At the center of the investigation is Eliezer Feldstein, former chief aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He was arrested in November 2024 on charges of leaking classified documents to foreign media and orchestrating leaks from high level government offices, allegedly with Netanyahu's own approval, under the pretext of combating disinformation.
Netanyahu can, indiscriminately and without punishment, massacre 50,000 innocent people. I suspect he'll probably be fine here. On the other hand, Murad Sadygzade probably knows more than I do. Maybe, I don't know. Probably. Yea, he should.

One more thing about tariffs. Two, actually...
None of this is happening because China has an "unfair advantage." If you're one of those people who were convinced by that argument, please stop. It's because Chinese cars are better, more efficient, and cheaper. It really is as simple as that. If you want to argue "reeee but but but China has cheap labor and we moved all our production there," then that's not really on China now, IS IT?
Also, what happened to all those deep economic theories about price setting being socialism? I thought any attempts to manipulate prices and the market are cOmMuNiSm?! What about the fReE mArKeT CaPiTaLiSm? Those damn Democrats and their socialists communists Marxists (insert random Ben Shapiro wisdoms) want to ruin our precious capitalism! This is MURICA! Wait what? Who? Trump? Ehm... Well, that's different, you see. You know, I became quite adept at making fun of our politics. I should really go for it!

Trump announces 25% tariffs on automotive imports, vows "business will flourish"
President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he will place a 25% tariff on automobile imports into the US, which is set to take effect on April 2nd.
I'm so sorry, Anakin, I must come back to the tariff conversation. The only thing that will secure a "flourishing business" long term is competitiveness. That's it. You can tariff stuff, you can artificially lower prices, you can cry about it, but at the end of the day, unless the domestic cars are competitive, it'll only hurt the domestic production long term. I've spoken about our cars before - they're shit. I'm sorry if there are any Ford enjoyers out there, but they suck. Maybe this will boost some sales in some areas short term, but long term this will only hurt us. Companies will find a way around this, even in comparison with domestic brands, sooner or later. Then what? More tariffs? Just make good cars, FFS!

Turkiye arrests nearly 2,000 in anti govt protests, calls western backlash "double standards"
Turkiye's Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc defended the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu on 27 March, calling international reactions "prejudiced" and a result of "double standards," while insisting the case was based on serious criminal allegations - not political motives.
First of all, whoever dressed up as Pikachu for the protests needs to become the President of the galaxy ASAP. Secondly, Turkey's ability to, both rhetorically and in action, change sides on the fly is something that never stops amazing me. They really don't seem to mind the double standards when it doesn't concern them directly, innit? I suppose we're all hypocrites to a certain extent, but even John "the homo walrus" Bolton can learn a thing or two from the Turks. Some "pro resistance" channels say they support Erdogan because of his rhetoric on Gaza. I don't know how much that makes sense. Words mean nothing.

Again, sure bro, but talking about it is roughly 5% of the job. That number was tested, by the way, in the official science house of science, by scientists, in a science lab.
Every single conversation about this subject I see online boils down to "lock up Hillary" or "Obama bad" or some other standard MAGA greeting. While those people are certainly a part of the problem, they are such a tiny part that perhaps we should start talking about the large picture. Our entire country, from the lowest to the highest level, is DESIGNED to work exactly the way it works. I keep saying this, none of it is a "mistake," it's all purposeful. No one "miscalculated" anything. I mean, yes, but not really.
I've been wanting to say what needs to happen for a very long time on this channel, but I put too much work into the channel to have it banned. Long time readers especially probably know what I want to say. If we want change, the entire tree must be chopped down and burned, not just individual apples, as rotten as they are.

General Flynn: the nation cannot move forward without accountability for those that committed TREASON.
He names Obama, John Brennan, Jim Clapper, Susan Rice, and whoever their puppet masters are.
“The outgoing Administration under Barack H. Obama committed treason. They committed a conspiracy to undermine a duly elected President, and it hasn’t stopped.”

Canada bows to retaliate to Trump's "direct attack"
Trump has made tariffs a key component of his economic offering in his second administration, positing that they will protect the domestic economy and enable the US to haggle for better trade terms for the US.
As such, he has put tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China, including a 25 percent tariff on Canadian imports and a 10 percent tariff on Canadian energy imports.
Tariffs don't "protect domestic economies." Sorry bruh. At least not long term. I've given a sea of examples on this channel how this strategy rarely pays off. Canada, in theory, could be a self sustained country (they have what it takes), but I doubt they'll push that far. For as long as it's this stupid "will he won't he" game of rhetoric, I am officially calling this traffic debate fake and gay. Trump has postponed them so many times it's not even funny anymore. Just do it bro! Or don't. I don't care which one you choose, but you have to pick ONE!

US boosts military presence in Indian Ocean ahead of possible escalation against Iran
The US has escalated its attacks on Yemen in recent weeks and may now be setting its sights on the Islamic Republic at the request of Israel.
"In the past week, dozens of heavy transport planes have landed at bases in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, and Diego Garcia - in what appears to be a surge in the usual pace of flights to the region," Haaretz reported on 27 March, based on satellite imagery and analysis of over the air flight data.
I touched on this briefly in a repost. As far as I can tell, there are only two possible outcomes now. Either Iran backs down and accepts whatever blackmail Trump throws their way, or it's war. I hope to God Iran, like certain other country, finally accepted that the UN won't do shit about any of this. Iran's "unwillingness to negotiate" will be used as an excuse and the war will be called an "intervention" or some other shit. Be prepared, please.

Federal judge again denies Pentagon's military trans ban after ask to dissolve order
On Wednesday, a federal judge denied the Trump administration's efforts to ban transgender people from joining the military. The ban was set to go into effect on Friday. According to Fox News, the Department of Justice has already filed a notice of appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
Here's another example of that. That's just not the way our country works - one dude can't decide something like this. We have courts and judges. I've touched on this topic several times and most of you seem to agree (at least that's what the comments suggest), but I will keep emphasizing it. It took 8 years to push a single bus line through environmental commissions in California, how long do you think all this stuff will take? Sorry, but none of this is happening any time soon. Unless, of course, someone takes all the power. Is that what you want? I don't know, it's up to you all.
