The preservation of the Eddas is a divine miracle, but they are not the only source. There is enough to reconstruct from folk traditions, which are thinly veiled pagan traditions anyway. And demanding that a Celt or a Balt worship Odin is ambiguously folkish at best. Drink from your own well. It is nowhere near as dry as you've been told.

There is power in showing how Christian history is really just schizophrenic pagan history. A history of confusion, self-doubt, and then renewal—but a glorious history nonetheless. Our history.

The foreign desert cult is a footnote in our history, we are not a footnote in its history.

He wants to have it both ways, but you can't.

Folkishness differs from Christianity in that aliens are outside the scope of moral consideration. What's good for them only matters as far as it's good for us that they get it. You can break bread with the alien, but unless you have very good reason, it would be better to give that bread to your cousin.

This is why you can't have folkish Christianity. If you "love everybody", then you love nobody, certainly not your own folk. People are getting wise to this, which is part of why white people are leaving Christianity in droves.

This post which APTA made is absolutely correct.

Traditional faiths held the legends, and how the blessed Gods were depicted, to be grand. They were songs of memories passed down from one generation to the next. Faiths which built entire civilizations from nothing and shall do so again.

We can see in this post the platonist denigrating the honor of the Gods and the legends saying they're "brutal" and implying the blessed holy Gods as immoral.

The goal of the platonist is not to revere traditional religion. It is to destroy and rewrite traditional religion. To wear the corpse of Paganism masquerading as holier than thou.

These are the same type of people who ironically accuse folkishness of being akin to protestants. But they themselves, in their sycophantic cult, follow their 'Martin Luther' Into rebellion against traditional religion and thus being reformers and revisionists in their own right.

Though they have suffered a critical defeat over the last year, it is wise to remember why we oppose them.

Lithuania has recognized Baltic paganism at the state level

On December 12, the Seimas, guided by Article 43 of the Constitution, the Law on Religious Communities and Associations, and taking into account the conclusion of the Ministry of Justice of December 29, 2017, granted state recognition to the ancient Balt religious community " Romuva "

Back in 2019, the Romuva association tried to push such a solution through the Lithuanian Seimas, but the decision was repeatedly postponed and ultimately not supported, primarily for political reasons. Romuva then filed an application with the ECHR, and after consideration in 2021, the court ruled in favor of the community.

Last September, the Seimas again rejected the proposal to grant Romuva state recognition. But on December 12, 2024, the Lithuanian Seimas held a repeat vote on granting Romuva official status. 64 deputies voted for this decision, 8 voted against, and 10 abstained. Now Romuva will receive official state recognition as a religious society.

Christianity is the most perfect and diabolical subversion of Europeans imaginable.

European man worships the immanent. His natural and native religious worldview is a this-worldly veneration of what is here and now. For European man, transcendence is the royal road to atheism. Never in his whole history has transcendence ever led anywhere else but to atheism.

So how to get him to become an atheist? Or what is the same, how to get him to worship the transcendent?

Simple. You tell European man that the highest and most remote god is an actual man. You tell him to worship this god-man, you tell him "he's more than a man, he's the One".

European man does not become an atheist all at once. His deep connection to divinity in the world must be bred out of him over time. But slowly, he comes to think of this world as empty of divinity. He comes to think that divinity lives "somewhere else". It came here, was crucified, and since then, this world has been a "vale of tears". He comes to think that the canon is closed. Slowly he comes to be disenchanted.

Then one day, he realizes that this "other world" is not real. The world in front of him is all there is. Everything that exists is here, and nowhere else. He agrees with his Bronze Age forefathers on this point, but he has been taught to disagree on one crucial point: he sees no divinity in this world.

But even as an atheist, he can't let go of his latent Christianity. So he invents for himself "cultural Christianity". He hopes this will rescue him, he hopes it will bring meaning back into the world. He doesn't realize that this is what drained the world of meaning in the first place.

Christianity is the worst scourge in the history of our folk. We will never be whole until it is destroyed.

Plato's political philosophy is what people point to when they want to make him look based and trad. It certainly isn't the metaphysics. Look, he's against democracy!

But Plato's ideal politics isn't based or traditional at all. Instead of the traditional criterion of monarchy, which is lineage, Plato offers a kind of meritocracy. "Experts should be in charge," he says. "Specifically, philosophers." Plato's ideal state is what we now call "technocracy".

These technocrats are not tied in any way to tradition, nor was Plato himself. He was happy to rewrite all of Greek religion to suit his own personal tastes. "Philosopher-kings should rule" is just the ancient version of "we just need technical experts in charge". But these "adults in the room" have separated themselves from tradition, so they have no epistemic authority. Just like the technical experts of today.

Plato's political philosophy is indistinguishable from today's authoritarian liberalism. It's baffling that anyone thinks they can oppose the current year on Platonist grounds.

When you rationalize divinity, you lose it.

This is one of the common threads that runs between all of the heretical worldviews we critique here. They assume that the world can be rationalized and made fully intelligible. They cannot simply accept that some things are a mystery, they can't be understood even in principle. And so these worldviews have all led to atheism, disenchantment, and nihilism.

The folkish worldview is not just "racism". The folkish worldview is the magical worldview, the world re-enchanted.

Whether you think people should be lied to for their own good is irrelevant.

The point is that if you go around saying that in public, you are definitely not involved in any initiatic order. Certainly not at any high level. You would be hustled out the door in no time.

Even worse, the implication is that qualification to rule comes from competence, presumably in philosophy. Whereas no traditional society ever worked that way. The traditional qualification to rule is lineage. That is literally the only thing that mattered.

These perennialists are really hard to take seriously. They don't even have a basic grasp of tradition.

No real esoteric tradition frames it this way, and no real esoteric tradition is ever openly dismissive of the folk. Disclosure of inner secrets is always grounds for expulsion from an order. When people start saying things like "aristocrats of the soul know people are too dumb for their own good", they are simply telling you that they have never been initiated into any real tradition, at best into a LARP that some theosophist made up in 1890.
