The conversion of English kingdoms to Christianity began with their kings but did NOT end there.
The last Heathen English king, Arwald, died in 686. Bede was born in 672/3. In Bede’s own land of Northumbria there had been mass reversion to Heathenry in 633 following the death of their Xian king.
The idea that Bede’s account of the goddess Easter can be seen as “faulty history” as some claim, is absurd. He very probably met Heathens as first hand sources! Or even if he was too sheltered in his cloisters to have experienced rural peasant culture, the elder monks around him, and travelling merchants would have FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE of English Heathens. Many of them raised by Heathen parents!
There is absolutely no way he could have made up an imaginary goddess to explain the name of such an important Christian holiday. It would go against all his purposes to do so. This is wishful thinking from certain Christians who want to throw shade on what is an uncontroversial fact among philologists.

Recently we set out to develop a travel stallr based on the style of Victorian era travelling cleric chests. Heres the first look at it fully complete and arrayed.
The Stallr is made of solid oak, including lightning stricken oak, and is upholstered in red velvet. All of its dimensions follow the golden ratio. On its face it displays a bronze relic from 700BC, found in Ptuj, Slovenia which we enclosed in a bezel made of 6450 year old morta oak recovered from the Azov sea. This same morta oak was used to make the feet. The handles and hinges are brass.
The top, in accordance with a few references in the Sagas, is made of iron. Strangely, the iron top was discovered to have retained a ghost of our Altar cloth for some inexplicable reason. The skirt's inscription invokes Odin and the Fates.
We hope to create a version of this very useful travel stallr available to the public later this year.

Rasmus B. Anderson’s classic, Norse Mythology: The Religion of Our Forefathers, unveils the spiritual tapestry of ancient Scandinavia. Journey through sagas of Odin, Thor, Loki, and Freyja as Anderson deciphers the cosmology, rituals, and heroic legends that defined the Norse worldview. Grounded in the Poetic and Prose Edda, this seminal work bridges myth and history, tracing how these tales shaped art, literature, and cultural identity. A cornerstone for myth enthusiasts, Anderson’s erudite yet vivid prose preserves the legacy of a pantheon whose echoes still resonate in Western heritage.
This Hamer edition, published on the vernal equinox in 2025 under the auspices of Hamer, an Irminfolk project, is an unabridged and unaltered reproduction of Norse Mythology first published in 1875.
Available in Paperback or limited edition hardcover (150 copies.)

We are slowly collecting bits and pieces of antiques to furnish the Hof.
This one is a new record. This "desk", picked up off Facebook marketplace for next to nothing, looked like a Renaissance revival French library table from the 1850s in the photos. Obviously in need of a restoration.
Upon closer inspection, it isn't renaissance revival.... it's actually a REAL Louis XIII table from the 1600s. The real deal, with 200 year old repairs.
This is going to restore nicely and become a centerpiece.

Last month we announced the publication of the 11th book from the Norroena library covering "the Eddas".
But then we decided to hold back on the printing of that book when we received an opportunity to pull off a double header.
So, in addition to the Eddas, Last night Hamer added Rasmus Anderson's "Norse Mythology; The Religion of our Forefathers" to it's portfolio.
This is a meticulous reproduction of a signed original second edition copy from 1876 which is currently in our possession. Weighing in at a chunky 473 pages, that this was completed on time was a real feat. Especially since Anderson likes to randomly sprinkle in phrases of ancient Greek. Guess who had to learn how to spell unpronouncable words with spaghetti squiggly lines!
Both books are heading to preflight on Monday and prints should be in within about two weeks. We'll keep you posted!
Should we offer Anderson's book in a Hardcover version too?

Great development. More must follow suit, especially internationally.
Right now, in any case, JPMorgan Chase has agreed to a policy change that protects customers from denial of banking services because of their political or religious views.
This involves a change in the Code of Conduct that’s supposed to protect against instances of political or religious debanking.
By the end of July, this new policy is expected to be explicitly spelled out in the Code, stating that customers, suppliers, contractors, and employees can no longer be discriminated against (the bank will “not tolerate” this) because of their political and religious affiliation, views, and related speech.
The changes were pushed by Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys, and the group reports that during recent negotiations over a shareholder proposal by Bowyer Research – tabled earlier this year – “Chase accepted the proposed changes” – while in return, “the shareholder agreed to withdraw its proposal before the company’s annual meeting of stockholders in May.”
“We regularly engage with our shareholders to address their feedback and educate them on our policies. We are glad we were able to come to an agreement. The amendment to language in our Code of Conduct is consistent with prior public statements,” a JPMorgan Chase spokesperson said.

A great development indeed. The policy of "debanking" for arbitrary perceived slights against the narrative has been a severe burden for our faith.
The Irminfolk, as an organization, has faced numerous "debanking" episodes.
What the article leaves out, however, is how debanking is an extra-judicial tool of the state apparatus to oppress and abuse people who their deranged non-ideology targets.
It was the Department of Homeland security who orchestrated the gameplay that got Tom Rowsell's visa cancelled so he could not come to FSH. And then they got PNC bank to freeze our bank account so that there could be no refunds deposited there. Their effort was to prevent FSH.
The Feds and their NGOs are the ones who used a phone call to the bank to get their way, even when it would be completely illegal for them to do so themselves. They hide behind their "muh private corporation" in hopes of avoiding a Title18 §1983 lawsuit.
Why are they so oppressive? Well, in one government NGO sponsored hit piece against the Irminfolk, they let out a hint when one of Moloch's whores stated: "their children are immune to brainwashing".
In the years since debanking we have hardened our assets against these freaks, and we will continue to do so indefinitely. We have seen that they are not trustworthy.
We hope that these new developments to push back on "debanking" will open up some of the cracks wide enough for us to start identifying defendants, of which there are many.
Send us any info you got on these bank scumbags and their handlers in DHS who promote this unlawful oppression.

Massive Nerding tonight.
While at the Hof over the weekend, I noticed some remnants of wallpaper near the ceiling in a room where much of the plaster had failed.
So I started picking at it. I found a sliver of very old block printed paper glued directly to the plaster... the original from when the house was built.
Normal people sweep up rubble... but I decided to bring it home and pour hot water on it.
The smell of 160 year old rabbit skin glue size being reactivated like a zombie ... It REEKS lemmetellya.
Little by little I pieced together a section of wallpaper and enough of the Frieze to get a pattern.
This wallpaper was printed by hand with wooden rollers. The white is lead and the green is arsenic. The brown was most like a red at some point. It's made from a ferric oxide.
Circa 1850s.
Now we can put that room back to exactly how it looked in 1857.

Today was a productive day.
The Hof received a very old "rope bed" donation. This bed is an American Sheraton rope bed from sometime between 1790 and 1820.
Solid maple, and the hardware is hand made. The Roman numerals on the wrought iron screws correspond to the joints they connect.
This will get fully restored with the canopy and all the opulence.
Because we think guests who travel long distances deserve it.
Now we have to make a mattress for it. Anybody have trash bags of goose down?

Today the Irminfolk published "The Eddas" through our publishing arm Hamer and it's Hamer classics series.
The Eddas is an unabridged, unaltered reproduction of the 11th book in the Norrœna library first published in 1905.
It contains the Elder Edda of Sigmund translated by Benjamin Thorpe, and the Younger Edda of Snorre translated by Blackwell.
We await a proof copy from the printer so we can look everything over, and then we should be in print and ready to ship in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

New Acheivement unlocked. State Sponsored Light Bulb Gifts.
The Irminfolk receives gift packages from the municipal energy companies now.
This goodie box contained a bunch of LED bulbs, night lights, receptacle gaskets, and HVAC filter whistles, along with crayons and coloring pages.
We will actually definitely use all this stuff, so, great.
We aren't sure if this is just some program, or if they appreciate us for not racking up tens of thousands in unpaid bills like the previous occupants.
So far, the interest on our security deposit has covered the Hof's tiny electric bill for several months in a row. Compared to the round-the-clock 200amp draw the previous occupants were using, and not paying. Maybe this is a thank you.

Heathens judge by phenotype. The 12th century Christian Danish chronicler Saxo Grammaticus wrote of an old king's daughter who he says "men believed" could judge a man's status by his physical appearance. When Olo Vegetus came to her Father's court, with a glare so fierce that brave men cringed beneath it, she acclaimed him "a kingly-born hero". All asked him to remove his hood and when he did they all admired his golden hair but he kept his eyes half closed so as not to terrify them.
Saxo's scepticism was at odds with common beliefs of his forefathers. Anyone could judge the merit of a man by his face alone.
