"After centuries of "enslavement", the woman wanted to become free and exist for herself. Feminism, however, was unable to give women any other personality than that which they can give to the mere imitation of men. Thus her claims are nothing but a mask for a thorough mistrust of the new woman towards herself: i.e. for her inability to be and to be considered what she is; as a woman and not as a man. Feminism is based on the premise that the woman as such has no value, that she can only be valid insofar as she becomes as much a man as possible and claims the same prerogatives of the man. Feminism is therefore a symptom of degeneration in the strictest sense of the word."

With this Woden weoh I wanted to concentrate on the detailing of the eye. Made from ash, I felt it was important to make it as lifelike as possible and to appear as he is watching with an analytical mind at all times.

This one ended up being traded with Dan from the Fyrgen for a signed album that I listen to pretty much daily at this point, as well as a few other bits and pieces.

Ordine Nuovo was founded in 1953 as an internal sector of the MSI. At first the two groups established a mutually beneficial cooperation but the situation became untenable after the Viareggio congress and Michelini’s determination to attempt the Destra Nazionale experiment. For the younger generation, that decision implied that the neo-fascist militants were somehow imprisoned with no way out, or caught in a trap where they became pawns for State apparatuses in the name of anti-communism. A few groups, such as ON, started an intense theoretical path which ended in the construction of a strong political identity based on the rejection of the two main political systems of that time, communism, of course, and capitalism. As has been said, they fed themselves not only with Evola’s theories but investigated others too. They looked back to the Social Republic and they patiently took stock of old legacies among the European Nazis thanks to the network established during the war by their fathers or older brothers.
We must create a ‘unity of fighters’. That is a pre-requisite. To set a vision of the world and of Europe aside as ‘irrelevant’ would be to sink into the morass of political partisan politics, a cynical affair without identity, without spiritual meaning. A united Europe, without a communal spiritual identity and sense of direction would become just one more power bloc. In what way would such a United States of Europe be spiritually distinct from the United States of America or China or be anything nobler than the organisation of African Unity? Europe must not be a stage towards the Westernisation of the world but a move against it, in fact a revolt against the modern world in favour of what is nobler, higher, more truly human.

Let's talk about Le Morte d'Arthur for a moment. It's the major work of Arthurian lore in English, but somehow not that well known today. Why not?

Well, it's because it was written a century before Shakespeare, so it's full of passages like this:

When Alisander saw this he stert aback and waxed pale, and said: Fair mother, what may this mean? I shall tell thee, fair son: this was thine own father’s doublet and shirt, that he wore upon him that same day that he was slain. And there she told him why and wherefore, and how for his goodness King Mark slew him with his dagger afore mine own eyen. And therefore this shall be your charge that I shall give thee.

Absolutely radiant language but full of archaisms. The book is also very long—it's 350,000 words, or about half the King James Bible.

In the Imperium Press edition we have annotated every archaic word so the text speaks anew to a modern audience. That's 10,000 footnotes across the whole book (a short book in itself), plus the usual buffet of tasty extras like a scholarly introduction, tailor-made bibliography, maps, glossaries of names, etc. It even includes the original 15th century publisher's own preface.

Most editions of Le Morte d'Arthur are either abridged or split into two volumes, and many single-volume editions use print so small that it's hard to read. Ours is a thick book like the other entries in the Western Canon series, but due to some formatting magic the result is at the same time readable, complete, and extensively annotated.

This book is non-negotiable for a cultured person in the English-speaking world. Now you have an edition aimed at the folk who created it, and that doesn't apologize for any of it. The Western Canon series is the reason we started Imperium, to take back these works from ugly people who want you to be sorry about them. But these are the best books ever written and we would rather celebrate them and make them sing for our folk today.

The Rásā River mentioned in the Rig Veda, described as west of the Indus, may be the Volga.

This river is described in other Indo-European languages, and may be a memory of the Volga, running through the Proto Indo-European homeland.

The name Rásā means moisture in Sanskrit, and similarly, Volga means simply wetness in Proto-Slavic. Philologist Michael Witzel noted its similarity with the Avestan word ranhā, similarly meaning moisture, and the ancient Iranian word rahā.

Indian gemstones such as garnet and amethyst were imported to Europe through the Volga River basin, showing the Volga remained well known in India.

Why is it so difficult for some men to know which path to take? Never before in the history of mankind has it been so clear that the good life consists of abstinence from what there is in the world. We've been told that buying is good, that equality is good, that fornication is right. They've told us many things, but we know they're all lies, because we see the reality every day. Cain cursed the earth and Adam cursed mankind. But throughout history, the world was inspiring, now the only thing that inspires us is the desire to destroy modernity.

Rasmus B. Anderson’s classic, Norse Mythology: The Religion of Our Forefathers, unveils the spiritual tapestry of ancient Scandinavia. Journey through sagas of Odin, Thor, Loki, and Freyja as Anderson deciphers the cosmology, rituals, and heroic legends that defined the Norse worldview. Grounded in the Poetic and Prose Edda, this seminal work bridges myth and history, tracing how these tales shaped art, literature, and cultural identity. A cornerstone for myth enthusiasts, Anderson’s erudite yet vivid prose preserves the legacy of a pantheon whose echoes still resonate in Western heritage.

This Hamer edition, published on the vernal equinox in 2025 under the auspices of Hamer, an Irminfolk project, is an unabridged and unaltered reproduction of Norse Mythology first published in 1875.

In German universities of the 19th and early 20th centuries, dueling with sabers (Mensur) was a common practice among students, especially those in elite fraternities. These duels were not about personal disputes but followed strict rules: participants stood their ground without dodging or retreating, enduring strikes as a test of resilience. The resulting facial scars, known as Schmiss, were seen as marks of honor, particularly among future military officers and government officials. Many of them later served in the German officer corps, where such scars were considered a sign of discipline and courage.

By the mid-20th century, Mensur had largely declined. Changing social attitudes and the fading of aristocratic traditions made these duels less relevant, and facial scars lost their former prestige. While some student fraternities in Germany still practice Mensur today, it is now more of a symbolic ritual rather than a path to status or recognition.

This video, which was made by a friend of mine who is a Traditional intellectual, very well articulates a number of issues in depth that I'd only thought vaguely about: namely, that MAGA 2.0 has clearly largely abandoned the populism that defined its first iteration and has now become a front for setting up a Big Tech oligarchy in which AI will play a major role. The video also explores some related issues, such as the importance of open-source AI. Highly recommended. His channel in general is well worth following.

“Do not despise death: welcome it, rather, as one further part of nature's will. Our very dissolution is just like all the other natural processes which life's seasons bring - like youth and old age, growth and maturity, development of teeth and beard and grey hair, insemination, pregnancy, and childbirth. In the educated attitude to death, then, there is nothing superficial or demanding or disdainful: simply awaiting it as one of the functions of nature. And just as you may now be waiting for the child your wife carries to come out of the womb, so you should look forward to the time when your soul will slip this bodily sheath. If you want another criterion - unscientific but emotionally effective - you will find it quite easy to face death if you stop to consider the business you will be leaving and the sort of characters which will no longer contaminate your soul. You must not of course take offence at them, rather care for them and tolerate them kindly: but still remember that the deliverance death brings is not deliver ance from the like-minded. This alone, if anything could, might pull you back and hold you to life - if you were allowed to live in the company of people who share your principles. But as things are you see how wearisome it is to live out of tune with your fellows, so that you say: 'Come quickly, death, or I too may forget myself.'”

In the present brief article, Alain de Benoist sets forth a basic definition of “Fascism,” challenging by implication the unacceptable generalizations of this term by certain Liberal and Leftist scholars today. Benoist also makes it clear that Fascism is a time-bound phenomenon which arose in very specific circumstances, and is therefore not a metahistorical idea (as some pretend). This understanding allows one to differentiate it from other forms of Right-wing thought (whether we speak of Traditionalism, Revolutionary Conservatism, Identitarianism, or others) and also to recognize the necessity of doing away with the simplistic and outdated struggle of “Fascism” versus “anti-Fascism.”

NEW EPISODE — The Fyrgen — Episode 40: Woden's Folk with Wulf Ingessunu

https://hearthfireradio.com/watch?v=JHXRAsHE

In one of his most anticipated conversations, Dan talked with Wulf Ingessunu, the English founder and warder of Woden's Folk. Wulf has been a prominent figure in folkish Heathenry since the 1980's, and is known for his more esoteric stance, much of which is revealed in the numerous books and blog articles he has written.
