The Marocchinate: Mass Rapes and Atrocities in Italy by Moroccan Troops During WWII
Marocchinate (literally meaning "Moroccaned") is a term applied to the mass rape and killings committed during World War II after the Battle of Monte Cassino in Italy. These were committed mainly by the Moroccan Goumiers (indigenous Moroccan soldiers who served in auxiliary units attached to the French Army of Africa"), colonial troops of the French Expeditionary Corps. They mostly targeted civilian women and girls (as well as a few men and boys) in the rural areas of Southern Lazio, between Naples and Rome. Mass rapes continued across all the campaign including several locations in Tuscany.
Italian victims' associations such as Associazione Nazionale Vittime delle Marocchinate alleged that 12,000 women, ranging in age from 11 to 86, suffered from violence, when village after village came under control of the Goumiers.The number of children born as a result of the Marocchinate is hard to estimate.
The mayor of Esperia, a comune in the Province of Frosinone, reported that in his town, 700 women out of 2,500 inhabitants were raped, resulting in many deaths.
In the town of Esperia, the parish priest, Don Alberto Terrilli, attempted to protect three women from assault. He was tied to a tree, forced to witness their violation, and subsequently sodomized throughout the night. He succumbed to his injuries two days later.
A resident of Farneta in Tuscany recounted a traumatic incident: "I tried to protect my daughters, 18 and 17 years old, but I was stabbed in the stomach. Bleeding, I watched as they were raped. A five-year-old boy, not understanding what was happening, rushed to us. They fired several bullets in the stomach and threw him into a ravine. The child died the next day" .
According to Italian victims associations, a total of more than 7,000 civilians, including children, were raped by Goumiers.

It is reported to be normal for two Moroccans to assault a woman simultaneously, one having normal intercourse while the other commits sodomy. In many cases severe damage to the genitals, rectum and uterus has been caused. In Castro di Volsci doctors treated 300 victims of rape, and at Ceccano the British have been forced to build a guarded camp to protect the Italian women.

The Lavon Affair was a failed Israeli covert operation in Egypt in 1954. Harry Dexter White was born on October 9, 1892, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Lithuanian Jewish immigrants. Harry Dexter White's parents immigrated to the United States from Lithuania in the late 19th century, shortly before his birth in 1892.
Later Harry Dexter White would become a top U.S. Treasury official and the architect of the Bretton Woods system. It would later come to light he was likely secretly working for Soviet intelligence, declassified documents and testimonies strongly suggest this.

The Soviet Union and its allies voted in favour of United Nations Resolution 181 (tabled on 29 November 1947) which called for the partition of Palestine into two sovereign states, one Jewish, the other Arab. They then strongly supported the creation of the State of Israel and its war of independence. The Bombing of Dresden:
The bombing of Dresden in February 1945 was one of the most devastating Allied air raids of World War II. Over the course of three days—February 13 to 15—more than 1,200 Allied bombers dropped nearly 4,000 tons of high-explosive bombs and incendiary devices on the city. The city center, a cultural and architectural treasure trove known for its baroque and rococo buildings, was devastated—roughly 90% of it was annihilated. This included the destruction of irreplaceable historical landmarks such as the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger Palace, and the Semperoper.
Estimates of civilian casualties vary, but it is widely believed that between 22,000 and 25,000 people were killed, with many more injured. The sheer scale of destruction and loss of life, particularly in a city considered by some to have limited strategic military value, sparked ongoing debates about the necessity and morality of the attack. The hotel was the site of the central offices of the British Mandatory authorities of Palestine, principally the Secretariat of the Government of Palestine and the Headquarters of the British Armed Forces in Palestine and Transjordan. When planned, the attack had the approval of the Haganah, the principal Jewish paramilitary group in Palestine.
According to The Jerusalem Post, "although the Hagana had sanctioned the King David bombing, world-wide condemnation caused the organization to distance itself from the attack".
Disguised as Arab workmen and as hotel waiters, members of the Irgun, a Zionist terror group planted a bomb in the basement of the main building of the hotel, whose southern wing housed the Mandate Secretariat and a few offices of the British military headquarters. The resulting explosion caused the collapse of the western half of the southern wing of the hotel. Some of the inflicted deaths and injuries occurred in the road outside the hotel and in adjacent buildings.
Ninety-one people were killed, most of them being staff of the hotel or Secretariat: 21 were first-rank government officials; 49 were second-rank clerks, typists and messengers, junior members of the Secretariat, employees of the hotel and canteen workers; 13 were soldiers; 3 policemen; and 5 were members of the public. By nationality, there were 41 Arabs, 28 British citizens, 17 Jews, 2 Armenians, 1 Russian, 1 Greek and 1 Egyptian. Forty-nine people were injured.
