🇷🇺🇶🇦 Recap of the Russia-Qatar Business Forum. It took place on the day of the official visit to Russia by Qatar’s Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

"Qatar was the first country from the Arab world to participate as a guest country at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2021. Today’s forum is a logical continuation of this course toward deepening cooperation and launching new joint projects,"

emphasized Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of Russia.

Russia’s Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, noted that both countries are interested in developing industrial and technological cooperation.

"Our companies are ready to share expertise and best practices in healthcare, creating comfortable and safe urban environments, as well as expanding cooperation in areas such as tourism, transport and logistics, high-tech industries, pharmaceuticals, hydrogen energy, peaceful nuclear technology, and digital solutions," he said.

During the forum’s thematic sessions, the parties discussed mutual investments in industry, infrastructure projects, healthcare, and other sectors.

"Today’s event has effectively become a continuation of a series of business contacts and meetings that have been shaping a solid foundation for Russian-Qatari cooperation over the past years,"

noted Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

The organizers were the Roscongress Foundation, Qatar’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.

🇷🇺🇶🇦 The Russia-Qatar Business Forum is currently taking place in Moscow.

This platform serves as a discussion space for addressing and widely publicizing issues related to further strengthening trade and investment ties between Russia and Qatar across various sectors. Key topics include finance and investments, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, tourism, transportation, logistics, and more.

"Qatar is an important strategic partner for Russia and the Gulf states. As the country's economy grows, so does the demand for resources and goods, and Russian businesses are ready to meet this demand. 🤝Interaction between indigenous peoples and business to be discussed at Arctic Forum 2025

As part of the business programme of IAF, a thematic session ‘Best Practices for Relations Between Indigenous Peoples and Businesses: Achievements and New Opportunities’ will be held on 26 March.

The agenda of the session includes following topics:

🔹options for building equal cooperation between indigenous peoples and businesses;
🔹related government and corporate policies;
🔹increasing the level of responsibility and monitoring the implementation of production initiatives.

🖋The Forum will also include the signing of an annual agreement between Norilsk Nickel and the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs on joint programmes to support indigenous minorities.

The main theme of the AEF this year is ‘Strengthening Interstate Cooperation in the Interests of the Global and Regional Economy’.

"Chinese investors are the most prevalent foreign residents of the Far Eastern preferential regimes. The AmurExpo Economic Forum provides another opportunity for entrepreneurs from the two countries to find a business partner and discuss the implementation of investment projects and business ideas,"

said Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev.

Key topics to be discussed:
🔹effective interaction within international organizations (BRICS, SCO, and others)
🔹development of transport and infrastructure
🔹international and bilateral trade
🔹processing of agricultural products
🔹banking etc.

🇷🇺🇮🇩Indonesia will participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025

The details were discussed in Moscow during a meeting between Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of Russia, and Jose Antonio Morato Tavares, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Russia.

"Joint work at SPIEF, a key international discussion platform, will give impetus to the development of long-term mutual dialogue between Russia and Indonesia across a wide range of areas. The countries officially cooperate within BRICS, and this cooperation should be expanded within the framework of Russia's Eurasian economic collaboration with ASEAN countries,"

noted Anton Kobyakov.

The parties discussed:
🔹 The participation of Indonesian representatives in the business program of SPIEF-2025;
🔹 Preparations for the Russia-Indonesia business dialogue within the forum;
🔹 A proposal to set up a national exhibition stand at SPIEF to showcase Indonesia's investment opportunities.

"The Indonesian business community is interested in developing practical cooperation with Russia, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the Russia-ASEAN dialogue partnership,"

emphasized Jose Antonio Morato Tavares.

📌Attention was also given to the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum, which will take place in Jakarta on April 14–15. Roscongress International and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are the co-organizers of the event.

🐳Ceremonial transfer of ‘BRICS whale’ marked the opening of the cultural program at the International Arctic Forum.

This bronze figure is one of the symbols that represented Russia at the BRICS summit in Kazan last year and at the "BRICS National Brands" exhibition held as part of the SPIEF-2024.

Also, as part of the International Arctic Forum, the project "Soul of Russia. Arctic" has been launched. Its main events will take place from March 25 to 30 and will include a session titled "The Northern Creative Path: A Territory of Opportunities for Business," as well as documentary films, feature films, and animations dedicated to the traditions of the peoples of Russia, which will be showcased on various venues.

Jakarta to host Russia–Indonesia Business Forum

📍The forum will take place on the sidelines of the 13th meeting of the Russian-Indonesian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation.

"This year, we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, and we are also accepting Indonesia into BRICS, which is evidence of the dynamic development of cooperation between our countries. 🎥🌏The XXIII International Film Debut Festival "Spirit of Fire" has concluded in Khanty-Mansiysk — the largest platform in Russia for the cinematic debuts of emerging directors from different countries.

Key highlights:

🔹 47 films from Russia and abroad, including from North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, were presented in the competition programs;

🔹 The prize and a cash award of 800,000 rubles from the Roscongress Foundation in the "Soul of Russia. World Cinema" category was awarded to the Kazakh film Citizens of the Roof by director Gulshat Smagulova;

🔹 Over 45 speakers participated in the business and educational program events, with more than 200 participants in the film forum, including members of 20 foreign delegations from China, Cuba, India, Indonesia, South Africa, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and other countries;

🇷🇺🇨🇳Expansion of joint projects to be discussed at Russia-China Forum in Khabarovsk.

"Under the preferential regimes of the Far East with the participation of Chinese capital, 58 projects are being implemented with a total investment volume of over 1 trillion rubles. These include projects such as the construction of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex with an investment volume of more than 890 billion rubles, as well as a number of other major projects in agriculture, logistics, and construction,"

The program will include more than 30 events. The key topics of discussion will include:
