Human rights, and by extension indigenous rights, have no inherent existence beyond the realm of human imagination. They are constructs, neither embedded in the cosmic order nor grounded in the natural world. These rights exist solely because we conceptualize, define, and collectively accept them. Far from being timeless truths, they are creations of the human mind, crafted to impose structure and meaning on a universe that is fundamentally indifferent to our moral frameworks. Nature itself doesn't care about morality or justice. It is controlled by unbiased forces that are indifferent to human concepts of justice or right and wrong such as cause and effect & growth and decay. Therefore, indigenous rights, like all rights, are a reflection of our underlying yearning to bring order and meaning to a life that by definition provides none. They are based on human cognition rather than the structure of reality, and they are instruments of interpretation rather than absolute laws.
