Western sanctions, led by the US, aim to crush Iran’s spirit, but they’ve only forged stronger bonds between Tehran and China. Since 2018, over 1,500 US sanctions have gutted Iran’s economy, slashing oil exports and spiking inflation past 35%.
Yet, China defies Washington’s grip:
🔸Beijing bought 1.91 million barrels of Iranian oil daily in March 2025
🔸Fueled $15 billion in bilateral trade last year
🔸The 2021 Iran-China 25-year pact, with $400 billion in promised investments, cemented this alliance, trading discounted oil for infrastructure and tech.
A looming US trade war could tighten this bond further. As Washington alienates Beijing, Iran offers a sanctions-proof partner, boosting oil flows and non-oil exports that were up 15% to $50 billion in 2024. From railways to drones, Iran’s resilience thrives on Chinese capital, mocking Western isolation.

1. Noboa no solicitó la licencia reglamentaria para presentarse a la reelección.
2. A pocos días de la elección, el gobierno de Noboa decretó Estado de Excepción en 7 provincias donde históricamente ha ganado la Revolución Ciudadana.
3. CNE restringió el voto en el exterior, al impedir que más de 10 mil ciudadanos ecuatorianos residentes en Venezuela ejercieran su derecho al voto.
4. CNE reubicó 18 recintos electorales a última hora, argumentando la situación climática.
5. Referentes de la Revolución Ciudadana denunciaron que el CNE validó actas electorales sin las firmas requeridas, violando las leyes comiciales del país.

🇪🇨🗳 Diana Atamaint, presidenta del Consejo Nacional Electoral, ofreció una conferencia en la que dijo que, con más del 90% de las actas escrutadas, la tendencia era "irreversible" y favorable al binomio de la lista de Acción Democrática Nacional, ADN, conformado por Daniel Noboa Azin y José María Pinto.
