After two decades in the fashion industry, Piyush Mangla identified a rising demand for high-quality Indo-Western wear that blends tradition with modern aesthetics. Inspired by the D2C boom during the pandemic, he launched Bani Women in 2020, offering thoughtfully designed apparel for modern women. Competing with brands like Suta, Libas, and Truebrowns, Bani Women stands out with premium craftsmanship at affordable prices. With over 518 SKUs, the brand has expanded across Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, and Nykaa, even entering the US market. Despite a slight revenue dip in FY24, Bani Women aims to hit INR 16 Cr in FY25 and establish itself as a leading Indo-Western brand by 2026.
