💡 A mempool (short for memory pool) is basically a "waiting room" for unconfirmed transactions in a blockchain

Here’s how it works:

You create a transaction — for example, you send some Bitcoin to someone
That transaction goes into the mempool — it’s stored in the memory of network nodes but hasn’t been added to a block yet
Miners (or validators) pick transactions from the mempool to include in the next block
Once the transaction is confirmed (i.e., included in a block), it’s removed from the mempool

The mempool is a queue of transactions waiting to be processed

If the network is congested, the mempool grows, and transaction fees may rise — miners prioritize transactions with higher fees

💡 Bitcoin Decouples from S&P 500

→ Its correlation with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq has declined noticeably since early 2024, hinting at a more independent market cycle

→ Bitcoin is becoming an independent asset — a diversification opportunity, but with volatility risks

💡 Can DeSci Save Science?

DeSci won’t replace traditional science (TradSci), but it can improve it:

Faster, more transparent funding
Open-access alternatives to journals
Incentives for better peer review
More collaboration through research DAOs

Examples of projects:

📌 Funding:
Molecule_dao tokenizes IP (IP-NFTs), speeding up fundraising for small-scale projects (biotech, pharma). Large-scale ($100M+) still relies on government and corporations

📌 Publishing:
ResearchHub — an open platform: upload papers, get feedback, earn ResearchCoin (RSC)

DeSci leverages blockchain to decentralize science, making it more transparent and efficient

💡 Choosing an Ethereum Execution Client: Geth vs. Erigon

Setting up an Ethereum node? Here’s a quick comparison of two popular execution clients, Geth and Erigon, to help you decide:

Geth
Hierarchical database, moderate sync speed (~20+ hours), higher resource use, monolithic design, with large community support.

Erigon
Flat database, faster sync (~5 hours), lower resource footprint, highly modular, with a smaller but growing community.

Pick based on your priorities—speed, resources, or community support!
good night, web3 fam 🐾🌱✍️

just remembered these lines from a whitney houston song:

i decided long ago
never to walk in anyone's shadows
if i fail, if i succeed
at least i'll live as i believe

let this be your mantra as you rest tonight! sleep well, stay true 🌙
💡 Crypto fundraising in Q1 of 2025 is already at 60% of 2024's total crypto fundraising

What does this mean?

For founders
New investment trends simplify fundraising for startups, especially in hot sectors like AI and DeFi. However, competition for investor attention is intensifying, and projects without clear value risk being overlooked

For employees
Increased funding may lead to more crypto job openings, from developers to marketers. But the fast-paced market demands flexibility and quick adaptation to new technologies

For investors
It signals renewed confidence in the crypto market, but with caution. Institutional players are likely to invest more in mature projects, while retail investors should be more selective to avoid bubbles in overvalued assets

🤔 Alright, let's gather a team, build the product, and secure some investments?
💡 Crypto Trading 101: Understanding Order Books, DEX Aggregators, and AMMs

📌 Order Book
Think of this as the traditional exchange method. It matches buy and sell orders directly, offering high transparency and price control. You’ll find this on centralized exchanges (CEX) like Binance, but it can be slower on decentralized exchanges (DEX)

📌 DEX Aggregator
These platforms (like 1inch or Matcha) pull liquidity from multiple DEXs to get you the best price. They offer medium transparency and price control, but slippage can be an issue depending on the route

📌 Automated Market Maker (AMM)
Used by platforms like Uniswap and SushiSwap, AMMs rely on liquidity pools and formulas to facilitate trades. They’re fast and great for smaller trades, but watch out for high slippage on large trades and impermanent loss if you’re a liquidity provider

🤔 Which method do you prefer?
💡 Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) are awesome: prove you know something without revealing it. Where they shine?

Privacy in blockchains (Zcash)
Scaling (zk-Rollups)
Anonymous authentication (age, not passport)
Fair voting
IP protection without leaks
Verifying computations & finance

ZKPs balance trust and privacy — a key feature for Web3 and beyond!

💡 Memecoin $CAR: Deepfake or Reality?

In February 2025, the President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, announced the launch of the $CAR memecoin

However, suspicions quickly arose that his video statement might be a deepfake

📌 Arguments for a Deepfake:
AI detectors (Deepware and others) identified it as fake with a probability of up to 82%
Project domain was registered just three days before the announcement
X (Twitter) account was deleted after mass reports of a possible hack
Token price initially hit $530M before crashing 95%

📌 Arguments for Authenticity:
No official denial from the CAR government
✅ The president has previously launched crypto projects (Sango Coin, 2022)

Conclusion: The story remains unclear. If it’s a deepfake, it’s one of the most advanced ever. If genuine, the project either failed or turned into a scam

💡 Running an Ethereum Node: What’s the "Merge"?

Setting up an Ethereum node involves combining the execution layer and consensus layer. Here’s why.

Why Two Layers?
In 2022, Ethereum switched from Proof-of-Work (PoW) to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) during The Merge, moving from mining to validators staking ETH for consensus.

Why "Merge" for a Node?
A node needs both layers to function:

→ Execution Client (e.g., Geth, Nethermind, Besu) handles transactions and blockchain data.
→ Consensus Client (e.g., Lighthouse, Prysm, Teku) manages PoS and the Beacon Chain.

Why Multiple Clients?
Ethereum’s decentralization relies on diverse clients for each layer, preventing dependence on any single software.
💡 How much does it cost to develop a DeFi app?

👻 Trust, but Verify: A Day in the Life of a Hacker

AI is quickly becoming a part of our daily lives—it writes code, creates images, and generates cake recipes in seconds. But what happens if we trust AI 100% and leave it to handle everything while we focus on personal matters? Do you think it can manage on its own?

Our hero decided to take that risk — let’s see how it turned out! 🤔

Yes, AI can accomplish almost any task, but blindly trusting it and using its output without verification can be risky. It’s essential to double-check the information before applying it in practice.

🤖 Read this amusing hacker story and share it with your friends! And in the comments, let us know if you use AI and what tasks you trust it with most often.
💡 Pump & Dump: Don’t Get Trapped

A group hypes up a "rare fruit," everyone rushes to buy, price skyrockets. Insiders sell at the peak, leaving others with overpriced fruit

📌 How it works in crypto:
1️⃣ Insiders buy up a token
2️⃣ Hype spreads: “🚀 1000x gains!”
3️⃣ New buyers push the price higher
4️⃣ Insiders dump their tokens
5️⃣ Price crashes, late buyers lose

📌 How to Avoid the Trap?
1️⃣ Check liquidity & volume – Low liquidity + sudden spikes = 🚩
2️⃣ Analyze tokenomics – Few wallets holding most supply? 🚩
3️⃣ Watch the chart – Unnatural pumps with no news? 🚩
4️⃣ Be skeptical of “guaranteed gains” – You’re likely the exit liquidity.
5️⃣ Use blockchain analytics – Track wallet movements & token data:

🔍Etherscan – Ethereum blockchain explorer
🔍BscScan – Binance Smart Chain explorer
🔍DEXTools – Check liquidity, trading volume, and token charts
🔍BubbleMaps – Visualize wallet connections & potential scams

🤔 Have you seen this in action?
💡 Web 2.0 → Web 3.0: Evolution or Utopia?

Almost every service we use now has a Web3 alternative

✅ Decentralization
✅ Privacy
✅ Data control

But there’s a catch: Web3 services are harder to use, and corporations still hold a monopoly

🤔 Will Web3 replace Web2, or will it remain a niche for enthusiasts?
💡 what’s shown in the diagram? explained simply

📲 User
that’s you, when you open a decentralized app (dApp), like a crypto wallet or a blockchain-based game

🧩 Decentralized App (dApp)
a website or app that doesn’t work through a regular server, but directly through the blockchain

🔌 RPC Edge
like a translator or bridge between the app and the blockchain. It receives commands from the dApp and sends them to the network. Without it, the app wouldn’t know how to “talk” to the blockchain

⛓️ Decentralized Network (blockchain)
the place where all the actual stuff happens: sending tokens, running smart contracts, storing transaction history, etc

📍Example: you want to send tokens to a friend → the dApp sends the command via RPC → the RPC forwards it to the blockchain → the blockchain processes the transfer
🐾💻 someone at 3:30 AM: < i’ll just debug this one last smart contract... >

🤢 i am: < trying to understand Interwoven Rollups, Initia stack, CosmosSDK, Enshrined Liquidity all at once...

...my brain: ERROR 404 >
The AI sector saw a 29% rise this quarter, reaching 2.6M daily users, while Social dApps followed closely with 2.8M and 10% growth

UAW — Unique active wallets (crypto wallets that have interacted with a decentralized application over a given period)

💡 $243M Crypto Heist: When Flexing Leads to Jail

In August 2024, blockchain investigator ZachXBT exposed a massive crypto theft:
$243M in Bitcoin stolen from a single victim
3 suspects – Malone Lam, Jeandiel Serrano & an unnamed accomplice
Luxury flex – Private jets, exotic cars, Birkin & Hermès bags

The downfall?
They couldn't resist showing off their stolen millions online. ZachXBT traced their transactions, leading to the arrests of Lam & Serrano, with $79M recovered.

💀 P.S. Zach minted an NFT about this case. Screenshot attached.

🔗 Full story

🤔 Moral of the story?
On-chain detectives never sleep. Your transactions are never truly hidden
💡 How to Choose a Crypto Wallet?

📌 Best for Solana → Phantom / Solflare
📌 For Ethereum & Web3 → MetaMask
