It’s good to see some resistance, but let’s not forget, Liverpool still has a Labour council. Whether Starmer turns up or not is irrelevant. His lackeys are already here, dutifully implementing brutal cuts to keep the imperialist war machine fed.

Starmer is a reactionary, the states man, but the rot goes deeper. Every single Labour MP, councillor and party member is complicit. Labour is a vital instrument of British capitalism. It functions to pacify working-class anger, channel it safely into reformism, and keep the system intact.

It doesn’t matter if you claim socialist values, raise your fist at conference, or sign petitions to parliament. If you're still inside Labour, you're helping to legitimise the enemy of the working class. You're complicit. End of conversation.
The last game Everton Football Club will play at Goodison Park. A stadium steeped in history. A major part of the English game. It will be missed by all of football.

Here's a quote from our comrade Lee. Spoken like a true football fan

The old old grand old lady is gone forever. Now we move to a giant toilet seat on the docks, but we've still got the memories. All that history, the people, mere green , St dominos, the holy trinity, Bob Latchford,  gray , sharo , Sheedy, Reid, Stevens, Southall ect...dogs of war in the 90s.

Gwladys Street humming of pot, fans limbs, weird old place, but not a mobile phone in sight just fans being horrible, euphoric or full of song.

I'm going to miss Goodison Park.

Recent reading in the Liverpool echo has discussed the issue of "youth gangs" terrorising the city centre. Their only idea of solving this issue is a dispersal order. A dispersal order is a police power used under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. It allows officers to move people on from a public area if they believe their presence is likely to lead to harassment, alarm, or distress, or if they simply suspect the group might cause trouble. They can ban someone from returning to that area for up to 48 hours, without needing to prove any crime was committed.

These youth gangs are mostly made up of disenfranchised working class kids. They use this order against teenagers hanging about outside shops, parks, or bus stops. Branded as “gangs” or “antisocial”, they’re targeted not for what they’ve done, but for who they are and where they are. It’s social control, criminalising poverty and boredom.

These orders don’t solve anything. They only push young people elsewhere, displacing the issue rather than dealing with the cause. The real roots lie in a society that offers them no role, no respect, no future. Schools are regimented and joyless. Youth clubs are non-existent. Local spaces are privatised or policed. There's no ownership, no purpose, and no hope. Capitalism creates the conditions for alienation, then punishes those who act it out.

Burkina Faso has been deemed Africa's most dangerous country due to civil unrest and frequent islamist terror attacks. What is being done to help?

Russia has sent 25k tonnes of wheat, educated 3,500 Burkinabes In Russian universities and has roughly 1,600 troops stationed there to help their beleaguered government.

What has the UK done? Closed its embassy and told everyone not to book a holiday there.

Its worth noting that Burkina Faso, formerly known as Upper Volta, was a former French colony and has had a socialist leader, Thomas Sankara between 1983 and 87 until he was assassinated and overthrown by his former comrade Blaise Compraore. He himself was overthrown by a popular revolt in 2014 and the current president Ibrahim Traore is, like Sankara, a socialist and military veteran.

Many on the left accuse Russia of imperialism, but this is very much not imperialism. The country has already been plundered and, just like Syria and Libya, has been destabilise by extremists who are at best tolerated, and at worst encouraged and funded by the West.

Burkina Faso means "land of the upstanding people" and these people are standing up against Imperialism and terrorism and they are asking for help which is being provided by Russia.

In a surprise to absolutely nobody late stage imperial Britain is a miserable place to raise a child.
This article from 2023 proved prophetic. It laid bare the true role of Britain’s so-called trade union "leaders" and their loyalty to the capitalist state. Just like Keir Starmer, a faithful servant of British imperialism.

Expecting capitalism to reform itself in favour of those it exploits is not just naïve, it is a fundamental misunderstanding of how the system operates. Capitalism does not exist to serve the majority; it exists to extract as much value as possible from the labour of the workers and funnel it the ruling class. Its very structure demands inequality, because without a working class compelled to sell its labour to survive, the system would collapse.

The idea that businesses, banks, and billionaires will one day wake up and decide to act against their own interests is absurd. Profit is their motus operandi, and it is created from the toil of the workers. Every concession ever won, from the right to organise in unions to the establishment of the welfare state, was wrestled from the ruling class by organised struggle, not granted out of benevolence.

Currently we are enveloped in a cost of living crisis, soaring rents, stagnant wages, and the slow claw back of public services reforms, reveal the true face of capitalism: a system that will allow millions to suffer so long as the parasitical ruling class continue to thrive. At this advanced stage of capitalism’s decay, even the limited reforms of the past are no longer on offer. The system is too brittle, too consumed by its own contradictions to offer meaningful concessions.

In a surprise to absolutely nobody late stage imperial Britain is a miserable place to raise a child.
Even if every immigrant were removed from this country tomorrow, homelessness, poverty, and the cost of living crisis would still remain. These are not caused by immigration; they are caused by the profiteering and endless need for profit by capitalism.
The ruling class imports immigrant labour to use for cheaper wages and working conditions British workers wouldn't stand for, all while syphoning public money into private hotel contracts through bogus "refugee management" schemes. The capitalist-owned media then whips up hatred against immigrants to cover for the real criminals, the ruling class who gorge themselves while the working class starves.

This is deliberate. Divide the people, set worker against worker, and no one looks up at the parasites above. Immigration is not a crisis; capitalism is. There has always been enough wealth to house, feed, and clothe every person in this country, but that wealth is hoarded by a tiny minority who live in obscene luxury off our sweat and toil.

The immigrant is not your enemy. The enemy of the workers is always the ruling class.

Given the Daily Telegraph's links to the British security state we can tell what this billboard really means. It means that there is a plan to stage anti Russian provocations using the Baltic states as the meat in this particular grinder.
