To appriciate each season for what it brings. It’s easy to dream about the cold winter in summer but then when winter arrives one dreams of warm summers. Instead of continuously fighting against and mentally be dissatisfied or miserable try rejoicing in the present. The summers heat with its blaring sun, the cooler rains that destroy your vacation experience or the flourishing insect life that bothers you should all be valued and appreciated. The same goes for each season and weather phenomena. Why should we always long for what we don’t have and be so oblivious to the things we currently have? Always “I want this or that” but rarely thanking for what is… thanking for the life nourishing rain, vital sunlight, natures unique biodiversity.
No wonder why life seems meaningless and hopeless if one is constantly being a cynical pessimistic doomerist. No wonder why one can’t be satisfied if one constantly compares, complains, wishes for something else or takes things for granted.
