UK officer tries to flee Nigeria after arms seizure in Delta, DSS intervenes. British Army Major Micah Polo has been involved in a major arms trafficking case in Delta State.The DSS reportedly recovered 50 AK-47s and thousands of rounds of ammunition in Asaba.

This reminds me of a similar situation in 2014 where a former British SAS officer Simon Mann was convicted in Zimbabwe of dealing in illegal firearms in connection with a coup plot. Mark Thatcher (Margaret Thatcher's son), along with Jefrey Archer were also arrested in Cape Town, South Africa. Thatcher was charged with bankrolling the alleged coup, which was an attempt to topple President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea.

The US & France have attempted to assassinate Ibrahim Traore 28 times in the past 3 years since he has been in power & failed.
