There was a time when missing salah was ordinary for me. I kept telling myself I would pray later, but most of the time, I never did. I became too comfortable skipping prayers and ignoring the call to success from the One who loves me more than my own mother. But the more I neglected salah, the more disconnected I felt from Allah. Now I realize it is what keeps me grounded and brings me closer to Allah.
