One person sinking alone in the ocean…
A massive creature beneath, unseen from the surface…
A golden, peaceful sea above — hiding the darkness below.
It might look like complete despair.
But it also reminds me of Prophet Yunus عليه السلام — lost in the darkness of the night, the darkness of the ocean, and the darkness of the whale’s belly. Yet even there, he didn’t give up.
He turned to Allah and said:
[Surah Al-Anbiya, 87]
This isn’t just a scene of hopelessness — it’s a reminder that no matter how deep you fall, Allah sees you, and there is always a way back.
Despair is a lie. Hope is always closer than we think.
