Considering joining the CPUSA, opinions?
I looking to join a communist party in the US and the CPUSA on paper sounds close to what I'm looking for. However, I have a couple of concerns:
1. Exclusion of Maoists. I haven't read or studied Mao as of yet, and do not currently consider myself amongst their ranks. My concern is primarily on an exclusionary mindset, I'm not looking for leftist infighting and believe such things to be one of the greatest impediments to our cause of collectively advancing human society.
2. Activity. I've looked a bit online and checked their subreddit, but I'm finding very little on direct action, community engagement, strategy, or anything other than the typical complaining about the Trump administration.
I believe, as communists in this day in age, we lag far behind the spontaneous rising of class conciousness. I believe society needs us now more than ever. I don't want to bicker about this or that subsect of socialism, I don't want just be name on a registry, I don't want to sit here and twiddle my thumbs and wait for capitalism to crash or kill us all. I'm looking to become a real part of forming a socialist society as I believe it is our only hope of a decent future for mankind and all life on earth.
So, do any of you have experience with this organization? Your thoughts? Maybe you know of an alternative that better reflects my motivations?

Israel digs two graves
The state project of of Israel is the extermination of Palestine. Last night they struck a ship off the coast of Malta, laden with aid and bound for Gaza. They will countenance no interference in their mission.
Unfortunately they’re going to succeed. Unfortunate for the Palestinians yes, but for the Israelis as well.
Most people now have an unfavorable view of Israel, specifically because of the current campaign. Even in the US. Israel still has state support, but the US has now set itself on a trajectory of irrelevance. There is no way the US will be as powerful as it is now in a generation, and that can no longer be reversed.
In a generation there will be no external support for Israel, and it cannot manage on its own (even North Korea has China). Israel was an aircraft carrier for the Atlantic power structure, that Atlantic power will dissolve over the next few decades.
It’s likely that Israel will be blamed to some degree, in those Atlantic states, for their decline. Maybe even Jewish people writ large, depends how bad things get. There will be no repatriation of the people of Israel to their grandfathers country.
With no external support and no chance of escape Israel will, at some point, exercise the Samson contingency. After that the final destruction of Israel is assured. It may be retaliatory nuclear strikes, or it may be that nations in the region with restive populations (this will be in the background of a global decline) will be turned lose on Israel. Probably both.
In the end I believe Israel digs two graves. It’s unfortunate, things did not have to go this way, but they did, and we can’t do much other than watch it play out.
