The Role of Religion in a Monarchical State

In many monarchical states, religion plays a crucial role in upholding the legitimacy of the monarch. Rulers often proclaimed that their authority was granted by God or approved by a higher power, creating a spiritual and moral foundation for their authority. The concept of the divine right of kings was widespread in medieval Europe as well as in many other regions of the world. In such a system, subjects not only respected the monarch's authority out of fear of the law but also believed that resistance to the ruler was a sin or a violation of divine order. Religion in a monarchical state often acted as a unifying force. It helped create a shared identity among the population, regardless of social status or ethnic background. Temples, religious rituals, and traditions contributed to social cohesion, upheld moral norms, and promoted societal stability. Monarchs typically had close ties with the church hierarchy, allowing them to use religion as a tool for maintaining social order. Religion also shaped the moral standards and ethical norms that society adhered to. Many laws in monarchical states were based on religious commandments or teachings, determining which actions were deemed acceptable or unacceptable. In this system, religious leaders often had significant influence over political decisions and social life. Religious ethics served as a guiding principle for both the monarch and the subjects.

Merry Christmas!
Well, today’s post will be very short. Yesterday was the anniversary of the end of World War I, which brought many losses. We must not forget the achievements and sacrifices of our ancestors in this war, as they fought so that we could live in peace and freedom. I encourage you to pray for everyone who participated in this war, especially for your relatives. Personally, I prayed for my great-great-grandfather, and you should pray for yours

11.11.1918🥀
We, Europeans, are the descendants of great kingdoms and empires that built our civilization upon tradition, honor, and the hereditary principle of power. Monarchy has always been a symbol of stability, order, and the unity of nations. It embodied our faith, culture, and deep Christian moral values—those very things that made Europe powerful and great.
But republican regimes have stripped us of this heritage, imposing the idea that monarchy belongs to the past, while the soulless chaos of elected governments represents the future. They have shattered unity, sown instability, and divided nations, forcing them to forget their roots.
We must not accept this!
Today, all monarchist movements in Europe must unite, supporting their fellow monarchists in the struggle to restore our ideals. Existing monarchies must cooperate, safeguarding and strengthening their shared traditions, standing together against the challenges of modernity.
We strive not only for greatness but also for peace and just order. True monarchy is neither dictatorship nor chaotic democracy—it is a harmonious and natural form of government that protects the people and their traditions.

The time has come to say: A Monarchical Europe is our future!
Let us support one another, unite our forces, and together restore the greatness of our continent!
For the unity of European monarchists! For the glory of a crowned Europe!

Natiomal-Socialism - ideology of ressentiment and its problems

National Socialism, or Nazism, is an ideology that emerged in Germany during the 1920s and reached its peak under Adolf Hitler's rule. This ideology was based on resentful values that included hatred toward specific groups of people: Jews, Roma, Slavs, and others. Its main goal was the creation of an enemy image, which allowed for the mobilization of the masses, justification of violence, and discrimination.
One of the key problems with Nazism was its anti-Christian nature. Although Nazi propaganda sometimes employed Christian symbols and rhetoric, the ideology itself was hostile to Christianity. The Nazis sought to replace Christian values with their own, which emphasized the cult of strength, racial purity, and worship of the state.
This hostility led to the persecution of Christian leaders and organizations that opposed Nazi ideology. For example, priests who criticized the regime were often arrested or repressed. Nazism, which promoted hatred and violence, fundamentally contradicted the core Christian values of love, mercy, and forgiveness.
Another key aspect of Nazi ideology was anti-monarchism. The Nazis opposed traditional monarchical institutions, which they considered outdated and ineffective. Their goal was to create a new order based on a totalitarian state, where all power was concentrated in the hands of a single leader. This ideology dismantled traditional social structures and led to the establishment of a dictatorship that tolerated no opposition.
The Nazis actively promoted the cult of the body, considering physical perfection and strength as the highest virtues. Those who did not meet their standards of the "ideal phenotype" were subjected to discrimination and persecution. People with disabilities, the sick, or those deemed physically "unfit" became victims of euthanasia, forced sterilization, or other inhumane practices. Such an approach was in stark contrast to Christian ideals of equality, compassion, and care for one's neighbour.
Totalitarianism is not merely a form of political power but a system that encroaches upon the very essence of human existence. Its goal is complete control over the thoughts, feelings, and actions of citizens. Under the guise of "order," "unity," and the "greater good," totalitarianism transforms society into a faceless mass devoid of freedom, dignity, and individuality.
The greatest danger of totalitarianism lies in its ability to destroy a person from within. People are taught to fear their own thoughts, doubts, and criticisms. Initially, they stop expressing their ideas, and eventually, they stop thinking independently. Instead of reality, they are subjected to an artificially constructed "truth" of the regime, where facts are replaced with propaganda, and history is rewritten to justify the ruling power.
A totalitarian society is a space where there is no room for dialogue, free thought, or moral values. Anyone who questions the correctness of the authorities' actions is automatically labeled an "enemy of the people." In such conditions, human dignity is replaced by blind obedience, and people gradually lose awareness of their enslavement.
To fully understand totalitarianism, one should also examine other examples, such as Stalinism in the Soviet Union. These regimes shared common features: a cult of personality, control over the media, repression of dissent, and the creation of an enemy image. This allows us to conclude that totalitarianism, regardless of its ideological foundation, poses a threat to freedom and human dignity.

Conclusion

National Socialism, based on resentful values, anti-Christianity, and anti-monarchism, became one of the most destructive phenomena of the 20th century. Its totalitarian nature led to discrimination, violence, and the destruction of traditional social structures. Totalitarianism, as a broader phenomenon, always poses a threat to society as it destroys human dignity, freedom, and individuality.

Why Monarchy Is the Best Form of Government

Monarchy is one of the oldest forms of governance, existing for thousands of years and remaining popular in many countries to this day. Despite the growing popularity of republicanism and democracy, the monarchical system offers distinct advantages that allow it to maintain its relevance in the modern world. This article will explore the strengths of monarchy and argue that it is the best form of governance.

One of the greatest advantages of monarchy is the stability of power. Unlike presidents or prime ministers, monarchs are not replaced every few years, which allows for the establishment of long-term strategies for state development, ensuring both stability and predictability in domestic and foreign policies. Additionally, a monarch is not affiliated with political parties, which often divide society and promote populism. Instead, they pursue a pragmatic policy aimed at benefiting the state.

It is also important to note that monarchy embodies the idea of hereditary succession, which is a significant aspect of many cultures and traditions. This feature ensures continuity, where future monarchs are prepared for their roles from childhood and are raised in the spirit of both their family's and the nation's traditions. Speaking of the state and family, in many cases, a royal family serves as a symbol of the nation and a draw for tourists. For instance, in the United Kingdom, the British royal family generates billions of pounds in revenue from tourists eager to visit Buckingham Palace, attend royal events, and see historical landmarks. Furthermore, a stable political system attracts foreign investors looking for a safe environment for business.

It is also worth mentioning that monarchy tends to be quite effective during times of crisis, whether in war or economic instability. Monarchies often act more decisively and cohesively than other forms of government. A monarch can respond quickly to emergencies without the constraints imposed by multi-level republican and democratic processes. Only a firm authority can act appropriately in critical situations.
