Handfuls On Purpose❤️ *See Ruth chapter 2 热门帖子

Have a wonderful and blessed day 🙏❤️
God desires to walk intimately with you daily, to shelter and support you. He longs to reveal Himself to you that you may know Him face to face as Moses did. Each child of God is a unique treasure that brings Him joy and satisfaction. Yes, God is a personal Father who yearns to embrace you and bestow His affection upon you. As you begin investing more time with Him, He will show you things about Himself that no other could ever show you. You will discover a relationship unlike any other. Don't hold back, you can begin today and you will soon realize more intimately who your dearest Friend in this life truly is.☕

Hebrews 12:2-3🕊️
So we must let go over every wound that has pierced us and the sin we easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.
We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation into Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faiths perfection. His example is this because His heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be His, He endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God.
💌 No Greater King will the world ever know. His love for you is forever.❤️
Have a blessed day. ❤️

THE KISS OF LIFE –
A PICTURE THAT WENT AROUND THE WORLD

The famous photograph, taken in 1967 by Rocco Morabito, is titled "The Kiss of Life." It shows two electricians, Champion Randall and JD Thompson, on a power pole. That day, Champion accidentally touched a high-voltage cable, and more than 4,000 volts coursed through his body. His heart stopped immediately. By comparison, an electric chair requires about 2,000 volts.

His harness held him in the air and prevented him from falling. JD Thompson, climbing directly below him, reacted immediately and began mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. He couldn't perform chest compressions, but he blew air into his lungs until he felt a faint heartbeat. Then he unbuckled the harness, slung him over his shoulder, and carried him down.

On the ground, he and other colleagues performed CPR. Champion gradually began to breathe again, and his heart began to beat weakly when help arrived.

Champion survived and lived until 2002, when he died of heart failure at the age of 64. JD Thompson is still alive. The image of this moment went around the world and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1968. It stands as a symbol of unwavering hope, courage in extreme moments, and the true strength of friendship🏆

I am sitting here thinking about Judas.

Yes, Judas.

Do you ever wonder what Judas was thinking? What could cause him to do what he is famously known to have done?

Our human eyes have never beheld the Savior. We weren’t there when He healed the sick and walked on water. We never shared a meal with Him.

But Judas did. He was so very close.

Yet, Judas betrayed Jesus.
His name is forever linked with betrayal.

He sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver, and we’ve all shaken our heads that he could betray the Son of God for so very little.

So
Very
Little.

While I know Jesus was completely in control, came to die, and could have called down a legion of angels to His defense; I’ve wondered what could have caused Judas to play the role he played in betraying Jesus.

Have you?

What could have caused Judas to be ripe for the evil one to use? (Luke 22:3)
He was as close as any human being has ever been to the God-man.

Why did he do what he did?

Many theologians believe Judas felt betrayed because Jesus hadn’t turned out to be the kind of Savior/King he had hoped for, and in his disillusionment, Judas betrayed Jesus.

And many today have Judas hearts.

Think about this, as in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares (Matt 13:24-30) many will try Christianity for a while—

*but when they come up against something they don’t like in the Word,

*or when God asks them to follow Him over their feelings or the culture,

*or when they don’t get what they were hoping for when they think they should get it,

*or when God does something they just don’t like,

they go their own way and betray Jesus too.

A Judas heart wants their way over God’s way as He defines it in His Bible.

And when another “savior” comes along, those with ‘Judas hearts will sell Jesus for “cheap” too.

Judas hearts do things like walk away from His ways so others will like them in our culture.

Judas hearts choose the ways of the world and sin over the ways of God for temporary comfort or what they perceive as gain.

Judas hearts do this because their hearts are not fully surrendered to the Savior. He does not reign there.

They are still on the throne of their lives following their ways over Gods’ ways so they will lie, cheat, steal, enter into that unholy relationship, whatever, in order to try to make themselves happy.

Judas hearts are easy prey for the evil one who has come to rob, kill and destroy.

But all of us, even those who call Jesus, “Lord”, need to guard our hearts with all diligence (Prov 4:23). (we ALL do!)

We are to sanctify Christ in our hearts and regard Him as Holy. (See 1Pet 3:15)

On their own, our hearts will do what “feels”right to us and are wicked above all things (Jer 17:9).

But as we trust in the Lord, not in ourselves, as we trust Him with all our hearts and refuse to lean on our own understanding, He will make our paths straight! (Prov 3:5-6)

We can test and approve what is good and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ (Phil 1:10) (we really can know).

It is there that we will have hearts adorned for our King! Our first love!

Oh may the Bride of Christ be prepared!

For there is real hope, unspeakable joy and lasting peace to be found for those who fully surrender their hearts to Christ the Lord!

There is NO ROCK like our God!

The Passion of Patience
By Oswald Chambers
May 02

Though it linger, wait for it.
Habakkuk 2:3

Patience is not indifference. Patience is an immensely strong rock, withstanding all onslaughts. The vision of God is the source of patience, because it gives moral inspiration. Moses was able to be patient, not because he had a sense of duty but because he had the vision of God: “He persevered because he saw him who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:27). If God gives you a time of temptation in the wilderness, when there is no word from him at all, be patient. The power to endure is yours because you see God.

A person who has had a vision of God is devoted to God himself, not to any particular cause or issue. You always know if the vision you’re having is of God because of the inspiration it brings. When you see God, everything around you is energized. Everything is larger, more vibrant, more.

“Though it linger, wait for it.” The proof that we have the vision is that we are reaching out for more than we have grasped. It is a bad thing to be satisfied spiritually. We have the tendency to look for satisfaction in our experience. We think that because we’ve experienced salvation and sanctification, we have the power to endure anything. The instant we begin to think this way, we are on the road to ruin. If we have nothing more than our experiences, we have nothing. If we have the inspiration of the vision of God, we have more than we can experience.

Never let yourself relax spiritually. Press on toward your goal. “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me” (Philippians 3:12).
